Defense Of Taiwan 1991

Description
Invasion! A Chinese landing force has been detected heading towards Taiwan.
It is believed that they will attempt to land on the western side of the island.
Your orders are to prevent this landing by annihilating the enemy force.

Assets available are limited to the on-shore defenses, and the NAS.
Additionally, USS Albany is on patrol to the east of Taiwan.
There is also a small patrol group is south of Japan.

Updated 18th September.
- Replaced Type 055 destroyers with more period-appropriate Type 956E destroyers
- Renamed Mod to "Defense of Taiwan 1991"

Really enjoyed this. Although it's a bit easy when you have F15's with 16 AIM-120's each and Super F14's with SM2's. The bombers never attack before I took them out quite easily, the Battle group never launched aircraft and there was never any missiles launched apart from SAM missiles to shoot down my Harpoons. The hyper sonic Anti-ship missiles are OP. They're a guarantted almost instant kill vs any ship you point them at.
But I like your ideas and the setting. The enemy never came anywhere near the land based defences though.
