Big Ears - First Small Atmospheric Miner

Description
This is a small atmospheric mining ship designed with new players in mind for my mining ship tutorial video.

Big Ears has:
- enough thrust and battery power to carry a full load of ore, including in the drills, so no risk of getting stuck in your mining pit from being too greedy
- balanced thrust and power storage, although it can pull 100% it's only very slightly over so the impacts will be negligible
- simple stone ejection system
- event controller set up for easy docking

I hope you enjoy this version of my starter mining ship that will hopefully be helping new engineers begin their journeys down into the depths for a long time to come.

For Diagum Spider,

A good way to automatically drain a ship of ores would be to have a specific connector port for unloading on your Base. To do this, Build a new connector point on your base with a Coveyor Sorter right behind it that has the arrows pointing away from the connector and towards the rest of your base. Enter the settings and Whitelist all ores and stone, before turning on "Drain All" on the sorter.

This will pull all the ores out of your ship but nothing will be able to enter your ship whatsoever.
I recommend reading the Space Engineers wiki page on the Sorter (NOT THE FANDOM ONE! Go to the "spaceengineers.wiki.gg" one)

Hey Spitsie maybe you could demonstrate something like this.

What's the smartest way to modify this so that when docking, the ship gets unloaded automatically without us having to go back and forth to unload some of it manually? I'm new to the game, and loving it so far, but still trying to get my head around all the systems and logic behind the logistics...
Thanks!

This ship reminds me of a koala that wants to hug. Maybe that's a more fitting name?

Just an idea: Since the Event Controller is a thing, I add one on my miners to controll the inventory of the drills: If they are filled by 90% than switch all (or a specific) light(s) to red and blinking.

I do mean "Inventory Full" in the in game chat and not the Suit Lady's Inventory Full. Unless the clip is in the Sound Block track list then you could trigger the Sound Block.
Hmm. Oh Keeeeeen. I have an Idea.
You could probably mod in the sound then have it trigger on vehicles. It would be the Capac "Ow" from drone batteries all over again.

lol that's a hilariously evil way to tell the player their ship is full, I love it :D

I had a thought during your video that the Event Controller could send an "Inventory Full" text message via the Broadcast Controller. I would probably miss the message personally. I almost can't keep track of my jetpack fuel.
