USS Texas BB-35 (1945) (NOT MINE)

Description
USS Texas (nicknamed Mighty T), is one of the two New York class battleships build in 1911. Throughout her career she participated in many events such as the Tampico Incident, World War 1 and World War 2. During the interwar period, Texas was used as a technological testbed and thus became the first US battleship to mount AA guns, the first US warship to control gunfire with directors and rangefinders, the first US battleship to launch an aircraft and one of the first US Navy warships to obtain a radar system. During World War 2, the Mighty T supported multiple convoys in the Atlantic. Later on, she supported troops in North Africa and Normandy by shelling the beaches with her guns. In late 1944, Texas was transfered into the Pacific to support shore bombardments at Iwo Jima and Okinawa before being decommissioned in 1948. However, instead of ending in a scrapyard, the state of Texas took her and transfered her into a museum ship in 1948. To this day, she is still a museum and is the last dreadnought to ever exist on Earth.
