ACI-Rival Vanilla+ Edition

Description
This is a Vanilla+ Framework version of my mod ACI-Rival: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2283775819

It is not only a switch from Weaponcore to Vanilla+ Framework. It also includes a bunch of changes that are not presently in the Weaponcore version of the mod.

Update log of sorts for ACI-Rival not yet included in the Weaponcore Version:

-The structure of ACI-Rival has changed a little.

-ACIM now begins the game as neutral.

-The largest of the player known area encounters are now boss encounters. These bosses will return to the regular spawn pool with 0 threat requirements if they are not destroyed before 84 hours.

-You must be enemies with ACIM and have at least 1000 threat in order for the boss gps to spawn.

-So yes there is now an ACIM threat escalation timer of sorts now.

-When this timer expires the usual event that makes you an enemy with ACIM will play out.

-The size of some spawn groups have also been reduced.

-ACIM no longer has the tier system for ships, instead variants will be used.

-Rebalanced the siege recon spawn. You should no longer be constantly bombarded with ground vehicles over your base.

At present I consider this the superior version of ACI-Rival. I wouldn't recommend the Weaponcore version in its current state but I left it up just in case someone was using it.

Shield and auto repair mods still recommended.

:D Happy that not giving up on WC side. I use lot of WC mods because I like the plane parts and weapon side alongside the tank stuff as of recent

Might try a Vanilla+ game later so subbing for support

Also the vanilla+ framework does't mess with the vanilla weapons which WC does. Some people don't like that.

Edit: Vanilla+ also comes with less compatibility issues due to not being an overhaul of the combat system.

You don't need to worry so much using other vanilla+ framework weapon mods with this as most seem to balance things along vanilla lines.

The weapons are of similar size to Northwind so switching them out wasn't an issue. Vanilla+ doesn't seem to have much over WC aside from keeping things more in line with the vanilla combat system, shockingly lol.

WC has better performance and gives the player more control over targeting and such. There are the ui changes also but better or worse comes to preference. And more.

I don't build weapon mods but WC appears to be more advanced in terms of what modders can create.

I wanted the vanilla+ experience so I created this version of my mod. I should point out that I've not abandoned WC.

What is the benefits of Vanilla+ over WC? Also holy cow those weapons look huge so if using them would require thinking to make them not look like bumps on a gun brick lol

I was inspired when seeing the weapon pack for vanilla+. I've been looking for a suitable weapon pack for a while and your mod checked the boxes. They are good quality. Awesome mod.

Did not expect to see my weapon packs to be used for an MES mod. Very cool and very excited to see what it's like to go up against my own weapons. Haha
