French Battlecruiser Sète
The French battlecruiser Sète is a design created by the author, integrating the armament of the 4th design proposal for the French Richelieu-class battleships (historical) and the appearance of the French cruiser Marseille from the game World of Warships. It is equipped with 9 × 380mm naval guns, all concentrated in the bow area, thus featuring an excellent forward broadside firing angle.
For its secondary armament, the ship inherits the configuration of the Lyon-class battleships, including quadruple-mounted and dual-mounted 130mm dual-purpose guns (for anti-surface and anti-aircraft warfare). As for anti-aircraft (AA) weaponry, it adopts the "conventional" AA armament used by the French navy at that time, resulting in a rather mediocre anti-aircraft capability. Additionally, the vessel is fitted with a hangar capable of accommodating two seaplanes.
The main armor belt of the Sète measures 250mm in thickness, while it boasts a substantial horizontal protection of up to 200mm. Combined with its maximum speed of 39 knots, these features grant the ship strong survivability in long-range engagements.
