Rebel Miners

Description
In the farthest reaches of the galaxy stands the Galactic Miners Guild, they explored and exploited untouched riches far beyond the inhabited galaxy cluster. They became one of the biggest supplier of raw materials to the core galaxy cluster. A confederation, big but invisible and spreads to the corners of the galaxy. Such discretion was needed for the guild was a front for a penal colony. The workers, the miners, were prisoners with long sentences and were forced to work mining asteroids and planets in exchange for lesser sentence. One day, communications stop coming from central HQ in the core galaxy, cut off, their directive was to continue as usual. This goes on for countless years, pockets of resistances began to form. One day, a group of rebel miners staged an escape, they grabbed a small mining vessel and stole the guild's ship blueprints and made off to the core galaxy. After a long journey, they arrived back to civilization only to find out turmoil, warring factions, roaming pirates, and the guild nowhere to be found..

(Note: Parts that needs overclocked are in each ship's description in-game.)

Dione 1
Small dump ship to move asteroid chunks. Refurbished for combat.

Dione Miner
Small mining ship to cut asteroids into chunks. Refurbished for combat. Overclocked mining lasers provide a steady stream of damage. PDs at the front assists in frontal defense by shooting incoming projectiles, with disruptors to deal with shields.

Janus Driller
Driller ship to drill into asteroids. Refurbished for combat.
Close range versatile fighter. Good for ramming and flanking.

Janus Torcher
Driller ship to drill into asteroids. Refurbished for combat.
Medium to close range fighter. Equipped with the Thermal lance to weaken the enemy's armor and shields, making mining lasers cut more easily.

Janus Flak
Driller ship to drill into asteroids. Refurbished for combat.
Frontal fighter. Overclocked flak arrays allows it to take on frontal attacks by destroying enemy projectiles.

Lapetus
Close range versatile fighter. Good for ramming and flanking. Upgrade of Janus Driller. Disruptors to deal with shields. While mining lasers cut through the hull.

Lapetus Heat
Upgrade of Janus Torcher. Medium to close range flanker fighter. Equipped with the thermal lance to weaken the enemy's armor and shields, making mining lasers cut more easily. Full frontal armor coverage allows for limited tanking.

Lapetus Flak
Security ship. Frontal fighter. Upgrade of Janus Flak. Overclocked flak arrays allows it to take on frontal attacks by destroying enemy projectiles. Disruptors to deal with shields. While mining lasers cut through the hull.

Mimas
Close range versatile fighter. Good for ramming and flanking. Upgrade of Lapetus. Disruptors to deal with shields. More mining lasers to cut through thicker armor.

Mimas Heat
Upgrade of Lapetus Heat. Medium to close range flanker fighter. Double Thermal Lances to weaken the enemy's armor and shields, making mining lasers cut more easily. Full front armor coverage allows for ramming and limited tanking. Rear shields protects against stray shots.

Mimas Flak
Frontal fighter. Upgrade of Lapetus Flak. Overclocked flak arrays allows it to take on frontal attacks by destroying enemy projectiles. Disruptors to deal with shields. While mining lasers cut through armor.

Mimas Rail
Siege ship. Railguns provide ranged support in ship to ship combat. Best used to destroy enemy stations from a safe distance. Rear shields protects against stray shots.

Hyperion Heat V1
Upgrade of Mimas Heat. Versatile combat ship, full frontal armor coverage allows for ramming and start engagements from the front. Quad thermal lances to melt the enemy's armor and shields, allowing the mining lasers to cut more easily. Rear shields protects against stray shots.

Hyperion Flak V1
Frontal combat ship. Upgrade of Mimas Flak. Overclocked flak arrays allows it to take on frontal attacks by destroying enemy projectiles. Mining lasers supported by thermal lances allows it to also brawl and breach armor.

Hyperion Rail V1
Siege combat ship. Railguns allows it to provide ranged support in ship to ship combat. Heavier armor and mining lasers supported by thermal lances allows it to also brawl in close range combat.

Hyperion Heat V2
Versatile battleship, full frontal armor coverage allows for ramming and start engagements from the front. A combination of mining lasers and thermal lances destroy armor and burn shields with pinpoint accuracy. Rear shields protects against stray shots.

Hyperion Flak V2
Frontal battleship. OC flak arrays create shrapnel walls, blocking enemy projectiles and beams, significantly reducing incoming fire. Mining lasers supported by thermal lances will cut through shields and armor, making it also adept in close combat.

Hyperion Rail V2
Siege battleship. Quad railguns allows it to engage at any range. Equipped with a sensor array to support long range combat. Protected by heavier armor with mining lasers supported by thermal lances for engagements in close range combat.

Thanks! Between building, painting, playtesting, about two weeks. But that's because I also play other games.
