📥 Installation & Load Order

Subscribe to RTR: Imperium Surrectum 0.6.7.

Subscribe to No Capital Malus – RTR Patch.

In the Rome Remastered Mod Launcher, make sure the load order is:


No Capital Malus – RTR Patch (above)

RTR: Imperium Surrectum (below)

⚠️ If the order is wrong, the patch will not work. Please double-check that this submod is placed ABOVE RTR in the list.

⚔️ Function

This submod removes the distance to capital unrest penalty while keeping all other gameplay and balance changes from RTR: Imperium Surrectum 0.6.7 intact.

Makes empire expansion smoother.

No more crippling unrest penalties in distant provinces.

Fully compatible with current RTR version 0.6.7.

This patch is a fan-made submod and requires the original RTR mod to function.

We the community, appreciate you putting in the time to make this mod but it is not necessarily needed. It is very simple an unexperienced computer user can adjust the game files themselves. All that is needed is to find the local game files for RTW. Make your way to descr_cultures.txt and scoll down just a bit until you reach, ";;multiplier for perceived distance from capital for calculating unrest
"capital distance multiplier": 0,". Then apply the value you would like where the "0" is. Make sure to save a copy of the file before editing just in case you fidget with the wrong line!👍👍
