Arundel Junction

Description
Arundel Junction in West Sussex, UK. An interesting stretch of track where the Arun Valley Line joins the West Coastway Line, with branches to the terminus stations of Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

This map is based on the plan available on opentraintimes.co.uk (https://www.opentraintimes.com/maps/signalling/bli_1) and the timetable is as close as possible to the real (planned) schedule of 09/09/25, from roughly 16h20 to 19h20. Distances between stations have also been set as close as they could to real life, and track speeds match as best they can, including the slow 30mph/50kmh junction itself. Even train numbers and signal names have been matched up with real life where possible!

It starts off nice and slow while you familiarise yourself with the stations and gives you time to set some persistent routes, if you wish. However, it soon gets surprisingly busy, with London trains arriving from Arundel into Bognor Regis and east/west trains between Chichester and Brighton (through Angmering). There is also a back-and-forth service running between Bognor Regis and Barnham. And to top it off there's also a freight train that stops everywhere for some reason!

Note that Platform 3 at Bognor Regis has a sink - this is just to allow the service mentioned above to 'spawn' as it never actually enters/leaves the map.
