ENEMY CONVERSION TO COBRA FORCES

What This Mod Does
This mod converts all enemy forces to Cobra forces, up until the world flip event. Enemy factions affected are Legion, Thugs, and SuperSoldiers. Conversion includes all character visuals, sound files, and UI interface images.

*Militia units are now also converted into G.I. JOE Grunts*

What This Mod Doesn't Do
This mod does not change quest NPCs or events dependent on the storyline. The main storyline is not affected, quests are not affected, and no map sections are affected. Adonis and Army units have not been converted.

Legion Army
The Legion army has been converted to standard Cobra soldiers.

- Cobra Troopers (Soldiers)
- Cobra Officers (Leaders)
- Cobra Televipers (Scouts)
- Cobra Stinger Drivers (Snipers)
- Cobra HISS Tank Drivers (Demolitionists)


Thug Gang
The Thug faction has been converted to elite Cobra squads.

- Crimson Guards (Soldiers)
- Cobra Vipers (Snipers)


Super Soldiers
Siegfried's Super Soldiers have been converted into Cobra B.A.T.S.

- Cobra B.A.T.S. (All)




IMPORTANT NOTES!

- This mod is not compatible with the "Legion Variety Pack" mod, or any other mod that changes enemy units. You will need to unload that mod first or you will be missing out on most of this mod's content.

- You should be able to run this mod with existing save games, without issue.

- Some enemy units might be missed or need updated. Please feel to use the comments section to report any missed squads or bugs you might find.

- This mod is a work in progress! I had hopes of converting quest NPCs and dialogue, but it is a lot of work and I think I could just build a separate campaign dedicated to GI JOE if I go that route (Terror Drome fortress sounds good to me).

Future Planned Improvements
- Militia conversion to GIJOE Grunt variations [DONE]
- Adonis and Army overhauls
- Additional map expansions/quest additions

Rarely does one AI engine get everything perfect, so I sometimes have to run it through multiple to get the right look. When you stick with one it can easily go off the rails the longer it takes to perfect what you are trying to accomplish. ChatGPT is my workhorse and Google Gemini for finish work usually. Elevenlabs for voicework. Original cartoons and pictures of toys for reference material. MS paint for UI icons and marketing art.

loving it! but Im not sure if the Junkyard Knights should look Cobra, but I can't think of anything to improve over vanilla or what could be more appropriate...so I guess it should be alright. it does get a little bit confusing while defending Cacao Docks.
