The Moonlight Twins - Legenday Heroes for Wood Elves

Description
🌙 The Moonlight Twins – Sylthae Moonshard & Caelthir Moonwind

Born beneath a lunar eclipse and bound by an ancient ceremony, Sylthae and Caelthir were torn apart by war and fate. Sylthae, raised and finally escaping the torture and blood-soaked arenas of Karond Kar, returns as a dual-wielding Bladesinger trained by the Shadowdancers to wield her tormented past as a weapon of revenge. Caelthir, nurtured by Wind-Priests and Stag-Seers, rides into battle atop her ancient stag Veylathir, channeling the fury of the wild.

Once upon a time, back in the days of 4th Edition TT, I played a Wood Elves army of mainly Wardancers and impact cavalry. This mod reimagines that dynamic for Warhammer III, offering an alternative to the treemen-and-archer meta. Designed for players who like fluid, melee-focused battles and tactical positioning. The Moonlight Twins introduces two player-only Legendary Heroes whose bond shapes the battlefield, available to any of the Wood Elves factions in the IE campaign.

Together, they bring a mythic edge to your campaign:
  • Custom skill trees tailored to their roles
  • Sylthae boosts Wardancers and Bladesingers with elegant lethality
  • Caelthir enhances Wild Riders and Stag Knights increasing their mobility and the ferocity of their charge
  • The Moonlight Bond: a dynamic trait system that strengthens when the Twins are in the same region, and fades when they are apart
  • Unique magic items and effects tied to their history

Sylthae arrives next to the Faction Leader on Turn 2, Caelthir appears a random number of turns later via a choice dilemma. Their presence inspires reckless charges in units and disrupts ranged formations, turning precision into chaos. Will you reunite the Moonlight Twins beneath the silver moon and unleash their tempest upon the enemies of Athel Loren?

The mod should be compatible with most things. Hope you enjoy it, let me know if you have any suggestions!

@Wait The Why - it should work with ' Twisted and the Twilight ', but really you just need to have access to the Glade captain upon which these characters are based.

@Teuton. Thanks for trying it out, appreciated! I am not familiar with SFO really, so I would need to look at that, or alternatively happy for someone to make the conversion. I'm still working on expanding this story arc, I just need to get some scripting working a bit more reliably...once that is done, that could be a good opportunity to make an SFO conversion.

Nice addition to the wood elves roster, they have been lacking some decent heroes. Would you consider making a submod for sfo?
