Aimpoint CompM2 [1035.1]

Description
The Aimpoint CompM2, also known as the M68 Close Combat Optic (CCO) in U.S. military service, is a rugged red dot sight designed for rapid target acquisition. It features a parallax-free illuminated dot, allowing both-eyes-open shooting, and is built to withstand harsh conditions, including shock, water, and extreme temperatures. Widely used on rifles and carbines, it offers reliable performance in close- to mid-range engagements.

Comes with LaRue LT-150 and LT-152 mounts, as well as Aimpoint's own QRP2 mount in low and tall configurations.

Now that would be something!

I had a heart attack thing he referred to the A-10s gun caliber

Ah, that makes sense.

I think the 30mm is just the diameter of a sight tube that the mount can accommodate. Looks like one listing just had LaRue's description and the other was a used one for sale.

One looks longer, and the other one shorter.

I've been looking at the Cantilever Mounts I sent you. What is the difference between the LT129 Cantilever Q.D. Mount, and the LT129 Q.D. Cantilever 30mm Mount? I think I see the differences, but I'm not sure.

The LT129 is what I had on my CompML3, too. I just liked the look of cantilever mounts more for whatever reason.

Thanks for the reference! I was a big fan of it and the M4 Custom in MGS4, too! I had its slightly younger brother the CompML3 until I sold it a year or so ago.
