Description

My entry for DougDoug's 2025 Monterey Bay Aquarium charity stream art contest!

Want to help save the sea otters? Donate to the Monterey Bay Aquarium![www.montereybayaquarium.org]

Features:

Adds two new animals: Bone-eating Worms and Sea Otters.
Bone-eating worms can be found in most temperate and tropical coastal biomes. They will eat desiccated corpses!
Sea Otters can be found in most temperate and moderately cold coastal biomes. They have intermediate trainability.

Future Features

I wasn't able to get everything I wanted done before the submission deadline, but I'm hoping to add these soon for a better experience.

Integration with Vanilla Animals Expanded — Endangered, to add Sea Otters to the list of endangered species that can show up for the mod's incidents (In Progress)
A way to actually tame the bone-worms, probably with a new kibble-type recipe using dessicated corpses
A variant of the animal hospitality quest. You'll watch over Rosa the Sea Otter and some of her foster pups for a set period of time. (Royalty DLC Required)

Hello! I get an error about a missing animal texture on the dessicated sea otter. You typo'd the name for the texture. It should be "SeaOtter_dessicated" lowercase d for dessicated.
