Introduced in 1963 by Canada, the F234 was a straightforward and dependable APC designed to transport Ten fully equipped troops and a crew of two. Its modular engine design simplified maintenance and allowed quick swaps in the field, making it popular with both Canadian forces and allied militaries.

The F234 saw service along the inner Chinese border, mainly in security and patrol duties, where its reliability and troop-carrying capacity made it invaluable. Canada also exported the vehicle widely, with nations such as the Philippines adopting it for their own armies. Simple, rugged, and easy to operate, the F234 became a staple of coalition mechanized infantry formations through the 1960s and 70s.

1. Enable Breaker 1 and Breaker 2
   
   
2. Enable Fuel Switch for about 5 Seconds
   (while doing that you can enable other switches)
   
3. Pump Switch and Coolant Switch to get cooling running
   
4. Instrument Power needed to see Dashboard
   
5. Disable the Fuel Switch to hold the start
   
6. Hold starter until engine starts.
   
7. IF Engine seized up disable everything but the Breaker switches, wait a moment and then restart the attempt
   after the RPS reached about 230 to 235 RPM re-enable the fuel switch
