Faction Colours on the Khorne Models

Description
Hello once more :)

This is one of the more requested factions for this sort of mod and its finally in a good enough condition to post - with admittedly one or two major shortcomings...

It makes the faction colours show up on the Khorne models. What colours you pick are up to you but you'll need a very basic knowledge of modding and the RPFM tool to pick the three colours you want. Of course, you can use the 'unit variants' and 'unit variants colours' tables to make custom triplets of colour, unit and faction if you're hellbent enough!

There is unfortunately a major limitation with this mod though plus a few other things to consider...

COLOURS THAT ARE SADLY NOT WORKING WELL AND MODELS THAT ARE VERY BRIGHT

White does not work for most models and just makes the painted sections a lighter shade of what they were originally. Shameful pink screenshots of Khorne's Chosen for honesty's sake are included above as a result. Very pale colours can have the same problem. Because of the way I drew masks, white might still be functional as a secondary or tertiary colour choice just not primary - see the horns on the pink bloodletters for example. You'll have to try it and see if you like it or not.
Sadly, this does mean the much requested white/bone bloodletters for Skulltaker can't be made in this mod - it's a limitation with the way the game 'adds' the masks colour to the base colour from what other modders have told me.

Black works fine on armour i.e. mortal units and it works better than white on the demonic ones but still tends to tint rather than fully colour. Again, up to your preferences if it works for you or not.

Now, in an attempt to make black work on the demonic models or those with lots of red skin I tweaked a setting in the 'xml.materials' files for those models. That's why they look brighter than the mortal models and depending on your tastes over saturated here.
Sadly, no way to accommodate every trade of in one pack file.
There's one or two ways to work around this if you're interested.
Firstly, if you use the 'unit variants' and 'unit variants colours' tables you can pick less bright colours for the specific units you want.
Secondly, if you're willing to have black show up on some units less well you can go to the 'xml.material' file in my mod and look for the lines that say
'faction colour use overlay'
<1>
and change that 1 back to a zero.

MISSING UNITS

The Khorne flavoured Daemon Prince and Fury don't appear to have the moddable files so are stuck with their default colours.

COMPATIBILITY

It should be pretty compatible as far as I know - worst case scenario some colours will show up weird or not show up.

SCREENSHOTS

The screenshots show the highly requested red-yellow-black, black-yellow-black colours schemes to work best. The light pink/orange ones are to show you what happens if the colour is too light in the interests of honesty and not over-hyping the mod.
And yes, that is a blue bloodthirster jumpscare in the final two pictures - I saw somebody ask for it once and wanted to finally give the world that abomination.

Kirby - Yes I would really like to get all the factions done! It is subject to how much time and energy I have though because it takes a while to redo the files for a mod like this.

And by all the factions I mean ALL the factions - there's some other versions for less needy races I've already done.

Obviously monogod races need it the most/are most requested so I might focus on those next.

I'll try to keep making these as fast as possible because I actually want to play the game instead of modding always and I can't bring myself to start a campaign knowing I'll restart it when I can finally paint a faction the way I want...
