Port Reefington

Description
Port Reefington
The second pack from Premonition and Sand Knight. This mod includes a new location (Reefington), a playable Cleever race, a new weapon type (scepter), and 2 new classes.

Reefington
An early game port.. quite possibly the earliest. Found near the beginning on some islands, this was my first dive into port/map creation. This is where you can recruit the new Cleevers, get the crafting kit for the scepter, and try out a new cafe specialty - Poutine!

Scepter
A new ranged weapon whose damage type changes depending on the augment in your weapon.

Storm Caller
Sand knights class concept for this mod. Utilize the wet status and puddles to boost lightning spells and wreak havoc across the battlefield.

Skills
Make It Rain
Target a nearby square and inflict wet across a wide area to friend and foe alike. Puddles get spread randomly within the effected region.

Ashwind Tinkerer
Premonitions class contribution. This class revolves around a unique new item called Orby. Orby passively sits on the field, reacting with his own spells when hit by fire or wind element. The reaction from orby is determined by his current evolution and the element that he's reacting to.

Skills
Summon Orby
Summons Orby to the targeted square.
3MP, 0CT
---------------------

Evoke Fire
Apply the fire element to a target tile. Can be used to see how Orby will react to fire element in his current form.

Apply the wind element to a target tile. Can be used to see how Orby will react to wind element in his current form.

Oh yeah definitely, this is like Bat Handler class as soon you put a bat every enemies will try kill it probably this game have enemies target lowest health first. Since Orby is an item I wonder if you can pick and throw Orby around? (I feel that would be impossible). Since I play the Wind Orby cuz of water electric combo what the best subclass for them? :D

The core idea of the class would be to spawn more Orbies for some chain reactions (which is, of course, more dangerous lol). The thing about Orby is that he's an Item, not an Actor, and so I'm not sure relocation type effects will work on him. I chose to make him an Item because I originally made him an Actor, but I couldn't figure out how to stop enemies from attacking him, and him from walking around. Turning him into an item solved that problem.

Hi, amishman53! Nah, don't worry I like to clump my party in one spot so it's easier to hit them lol and I should do better positioning. Would love little Orby can be relocate/position around instead staying there but I supposed I have to summon more Orbies to make it more effective yeah?

Hey, thanks for the feedback Garnet! The Ashwind Tinkerer.. it was really rough to figure out a balance. If there's anything you can think of that might make the class feel a little bit better and safer to play please let me know and I'll look to updating it.

Hey, more new classes (I'm hyped)! Take your time both of you while I'm trying how to play ashwind tinkerer without killing my allies lol. Thank you again for the fun classes!

it should not, although untested, Scepters can already be very strong (especially the unique one you can buy by developping the port) so it not synergising with anything was a choice by us. I have in mind to make a scepter related class later, but right now we are a bit burned out from class making as this project was pretty draining. we will for sure get back to it though !

Thank you so very much for your feedback of Elemental Knight. I made it as it was 'the class I wanted to play' but it is cool that people share that interest ^^

Aww, I thought it would be synergize with Dayblade mainly for Radiance pair with your fantastic Elemental Knight class. Does the scepter have the effect with Elementalist's Savant Stone?
SandKnight  [author] 14 Sep @ 3:07pm
@Garnet_Tea you are correct, they aren't wands. it kinda is it's own thing,
Garnet_Tea 13 Sep @ 4:49pm
Scepter is not a wand right?
