Mission Briefing:

Your team has been inserted into a remote greenland open-pit quarry, currently held by a phoenix cell. Our informant has gone dark after missing a check in a few days ago, and your team is to retrieve the informant and their intel. Due to inclement terrain, you have been inserted via an only bypass tunnel to the outskirts of the facility. This mission has been approved due to the severity of the last report from the insider.


Known threats, obstacles, terrain, and resources

Arctic weather patterns have hampered observation attempts by the Coalition to survey the area ahead of your deployment, no aerial maps could be made up to date for your team.
Lidar aerial assets have been able to observe the area around the facility and have seen greatly increased activity for the last 48 hours, expect large groups of phoenix personel.
The site itself has extensive ECM emplacements hampering communication and recon.
Due to the nature of the bypass tunnel, only basic equipment could be transported in by Coalition member SWAT vehicles.

Last Insider report mentions a presumed weapons test in the facility scheduled for 48 hours ago seismic sensors reported a medium quake of 4 magnitude originating from the site at that time.


Informant has designated a rendezvous point in case of emergency extraction. Informant has also stashed intel at the rendezvous point in case of Informant loss or forced relocation. Rendezvous point is an old locked tools room in the first sublevel of the facility, past the main utility elevator which is powered from the old safety and security room that looks over the clearing

Suplementals
Using the compiled information from the informants previous reports some intel has been gathered about the site:
-Due to the lack of temperature controlled lockers, medical equipment smuggled by phoenix is stored in the on site vending machines, use at your discretion.
-The facility was in the early stages of occupation by phoenix when the informant went dark, as such supplies such as weapons and gear are still held in large weapon cashes throughout the facility, use such areas to resupply as needed




How to play:


For all types of play

-Read Above Briefing
-It is recommended that all players join before starting the mission, also hotjoining is supported during the first half of the map, if a player joins after the elevator, it may cause some problems
-Attempting to join the T team can kick bots, unintentionally breaking the map, use restart button in starting area to fix this [reloads the map]
-Map automatically scales some elements to player count, maintaining some difficulty with higher player counts
-Have fun



With a party

Have host subbed to workshop page
Invite players to hosts party in CS2 party system
Host launches map, other players will not see anything happening till host loads map
Players will automatically join when server is up
Players load faster with all players subbed to workshop page



On a server hoster/dedicated server

Have the workshop page id "3563008142” saved (can also be found in the url after “?id=”)
Select custom game mode in server settings
Select under map source, “steam workshop: single map”
Have the server workshop map id use the id "3563008142" stored earlier
Go to servers config settings tab and open the gamemode_custom_server.cfg and add the following to it
sv_cheats 1;
Start up the server and give out the server ip to players
(players may be timed out if not previously subbed to workshop page, rejoining after workshop download is complete will work)
The above command may not be required depending on your hoster



Known Bugs/Problems

Map Suddenly ends
-Working on ending, not done yet :)
No Persistant Checkpoints
-Checkpoint reset on map reload,
Player limit related problems
-If there are more than 8 players, have the extras join spectator and do NOT attempt to join T side, if this occurs, use the button in the starting area to reset the map,
-the additional CT’s will not have checkpoints and be unable to be targeted
-Hardcore mode does not exist as of now, may add if requested

cool boss fight, but overall map is pretty easy with the AI. Map says up to 8 players but realistically you can do it with 1 or 2 people.
