Please remember i am still learning, do not expect perfection.

From Wayne's World to a Goofy Movie.

The AMC Pacer was described as a futuristic, bold, unique jellybean styled car. With a width comparable to full sized domestic cars at the time, the Pacer was marketed as the "first wide small car". With the anticipation for the demand of small cars in the 70s, AMC already known for making smaller sized cars, began work on the new design for a car with a larger cabin design that was able to fit 4 passengers with a small compact exterior, thus the Pacer was born. Originally the Pacer was supposed to be fitted with a Wankel Rotary engine, but later decided against and went to General Motors for a engine they were producing. When that fell through AMC went ahead with their preexisting Straight Six. The Pacer packed many safety features that weren't required federally until 1980. Including crash safety testing, 5 and 10 mph bumpers, laminated glass, full circle body protection. The Pacer met it all from the start. About 280,000 Pacers were produced in its 5 year run.

Fun fact: the passenger door is 4 inches longer than the drivers door allowing for easier ingress and egress for rear passengers.

I have decided to create a patreon for certain vehicles, as well as posting updates on what will be coming next. Please go check it out, as well as support if you are able to, remember nothing is mandatory as most vehicles will still be coming to the workshop. Check it out HERE. [www.patreon.com] Thank you.
