No Peasant Blackmail

Description
If John Pigson of the Company of the Unwashed Hoglords walked into the imperial palace and tried to threaten the emperor with blackmail, he would either be laughed at or immediately killed, and even if he tried to reveal whatever secret he knows, he wouldn't be taken seriously.

And so, this mod prevents filthy peasants (especially adventurers and mercenaries) from spamming you with blackmail.

Basically, it requires characters to:

1. Be landed
2. NOT have the Adventurer, Mercenary, or Holy Order government type

in order to be able to send a blackmail attempt. This prevents the endless blackmail spam from these character types, who seemingly always have their spymaster set to find secrets.

Curious that Tommy's profile claims to be from the US, and yet pays for games in rubles and posts reviews in Russian.

As to add to the feedback, yes, i think that the blackmail part by adventurer, mercenary, etc, should be restricted to a certain level of fame, because, while they may not believe a estabilished (or disgraced) level of fame nobody, they would most certainly at least give an ear to an exalted among men, living legend. The adventurer in question holds prestige and it would make sense.
Although i do believe that, if we work on this logic, the bigger the rank of the person, the greater should be your level of fame to blackmail them. Like, while it would make sense for a count to require at least distinguished to be believed, dukes and kings would require bigger levels of fame for the unlanded and the lowborn to accuse you of having affairs with the king of middle east's wife or something. (although i would also add, that the schemer trait could function reduce the level of fame required, or ignore the requirements completely).

Tommy, this mods deals with blackmail mechanic by the unlanded and the lowborn, not the revolts themselves. So, what are you talking about?

The mechanics of revolts themselves are not well-developed. First, they unite when the revolt begins, and all dissatisfied villages rise up.The problem for peasants is that although they are oppressed, they also have a petty-bourgeois mentality. For example, they can exploit each other if one has a bad harvest and another has a good one, and then the poorer one can easily fall into debt slavery, working for food literally.

In other words, don't think peasants are stupid, but their ability to unite is almost impossible and rare, since it requires temporarily giving up the "I" for "We", which is difficult for peasants because if they fight for something it's usually a hunger riot, where either death or taking back their property is the goal. Moreover, after taking back their land, they return to their old way of life and nothing changes. Big talk about freedom and dignity is just that, talk. They just want to be allowed to survive, but can't go further for that life.

Laughed loudly when I saw this mod. About peasants, their revolt is one of the most important things in the revolt, and the question of peasants was a constant problem. The main conflict of feudalism is the peasant, who is the vast majority of the population and the main producer of food, first and foremost. That is to say, without them no nobility would be possible, since they would all simply starve. The peasant also provides the main labor power, creating surplus value, which is the main source of wealth. In other words, without peasants there would be no nobles.

As there is no light without darkness, so there is no concept of nobility without peasants. However, with peasants things are even more complicated, because even a good noble cannot help exploiting his peasants harshly. If you stop exploiting them, you quickly cease being a noble.
