New World Screwworms thought to be unharmful and thankfully to SIT pushed out of North and South Americas. On August 4th, 2025 man in USA got infected with larvae of NWS after travelling to El Salvador. What if it this time it was more adapted to infect animals and specifically humans?

Flies themselfs, larvaes and especially their eggs are surprisingly good adapted for cold climates. Eggs dont always hatch immediatly, making it possible for them to transmit without grown fly help.

This disease is somewhat different from most scenarios.
- Same as vanilla parasite - very severe from the beggining, but also a little fatal.
- Corpse transmission is enabled by default.
- Easier to cure.
- By default has low mutation chances, but has many zoonotic transmissions, even thought their mutation chances are decreased.
- Most symptoms are lethal or extremely severe.
- Really struggles to survive in cold climates, but doesn`t have any troubles with hot climates.

There is a forced storyline about ALPCC experimenting on flies using SIT technology and turning them into something deadly. When people become aware of your disease, scientists will blame ALPCC for the pandemic and begin working on a cure using ALPCC data. Once you see this in the news bar, you should evolve Drug Resistance 2. If you do, your disease will be harder to cure; if you don’t, it will be easier. Hard to mess up.
