Woodcutting Skill — Overhaul (B42)

An overhaul of the Woodcutting skill, updated for Build 42.
Fully configurable: damage per level (optional one-hit threshold), max damage cap, extra-loot rework, XP multiplier and a complete Sandbox page (SP/MP/Admin).
B42-safe Timed Actions (server-authoritative) without overriding vanilla files.

What’s new in the B42 version

Safe Timed-Action patch for Chop Tree / Remove Bush (no vanilla overrides; compatible with B42 changes).
Server-authoritative logic for consistent multiplayer results.
Updated translations using B42’s table format (IG_UI / UI / Sandbox). Languages: EN, PT-BR.
Dedicated Sandbox page with clear tooltips for every option.

Highlights

Per-level tree damage, with an optional one-hit threshold.
Endurance savings per level and faster bush removal.
+2 TreeDamage per level with axes (keeps the spirit of the original).
Extra loot rework on medium/large trees (logs, branches, twigs, pinecones; rare fruit/“finds” gated by skill & season).
XP multiplier for tree hits.
Woodcutter trait (+1 Woodcutting) and boosts for related professions.

Config (SP / Host / Dedicated)

Singleplayer / Host: when creating a world, open the Woodcutting tab in Sandbox Options and adjust.

Dedicated server: edit the save’s Sandbox (or create a preset) and set:

Tip: with the defaults, around level 6–7 you can one-hit trees if the threshold is enabled.

Compatibility

Made for Build 42. For Build 41, use the separate B41 version (link below).
High compatibility via patching (no direct overrides).
Only conflicts with mods that replace B42’s ISChopTreeAction or ISRemoveBush.
Extra-loot chances respect the Sandbox’s Nature Abundance.

Languages

English, Portuguese (Brazil).
If you see raw keys like IGUI_perks_Woodcutting, switch the game language to EN/PT-BR and restart (or update the mod).
