Custom Denning Element 2 10.2m

the Element 2 is an electric bus produced by Australian bus body manufacturer Custom Denning. The company was founded in 1935 as "Cycle Components Manufacturing Company" (CCMC), which would later become Custom Coaches Manufacturing Company, producing bodywork for buses primarily for private operators. Through various changes of ownership, the company would then go through multiple name changes, settling with Custom Coaches in 2004 untill 2018 when it fell into administration for the second time in 4 years. It would be purchased by the Dunn Group, a company with bus/coach operations in the UK and Australia, with Denning Manufacturing being acquired a year later.

The Element was first announced in 2021, and is a full-size electric bus, with hydrogen fuel cell versions planned in the future. In November of 2023, it was announced the Element 2 would be sold in the UK, with the first examples arriving in 2024 and entering service in 2025 with Diamond Bus across a number of it's divisions.

This mod represents a Custom Denning Element 2 in a British regional specification, with a 10.2 metre long length and a single door for entry and exit

This mod is a port of a model created for a project on another platform, and thus may have some minor issues related to the texture unwrapping and model in game, and features a higher detail level than some of my previous models developed for CBM, which may potentially cause performance issues with large fleets on lower-spec setups.

The PDN and PSD templates features a fully prepared setup for repainting, and extra layers with additional options. There are also PNG files with the base template and details as separate files. The doors are also paintable on the model itself when using these external templates.

capacity count is an estimate and may change later if i can acquire more accurate numbers. Due to the capacity demands this game requires, this version does not have the exact capacity of the real-world 10.2m Element 2's used for airport duties, and is based on an estimation of the capacity without luggage racks.
