WWII Submarine Type IIC [MP Warheads Version]

Description
NOTE: This is the MP Warhead version. For the normal version, click here: Type IIC Submarine [Normal] This version has only 1 warhead per torpedo, at the cost of heavier torpedoes with reduced range. This is useful for MP servers with warhead limitations.

🧭 How to Use

🚤 Basic Operation
  1. Enter the submarine and head to the engine room near the stern.
  2. Enable both engine keys to start the diesel engines.
  3. Use either the helm in the control room or the telegraphs to set speed.
  4. Steer from the control room helm, or the conning tower helm when surfaced.

You are now ready to sail!

🌊 Diving & Submerging
  • Go to the diving station (starboard side, control room).
  • Press a preset dive button or use arrows/keypad/manual controls.
  • The ballast tanks will be automatically managed when using presets.
  • Keep an eye on compressed air – refill using the compressors behind the engines (starboard side).
  • For submerged travel, enable the electric motors at the panels behind the engines and turn off the diesels.

🔭 Periscope
  • Raise/lower from the panel near the diving station or from the conning tower.
  • Best operated from the conning tower for visibility.

🎯 Firing Torpedoes
  1. Flood tubes using the switches above each tube in the bow torpedo room.
  2. Fire from either the torpedo room or the torpedo control panel near the helm in the control room.

📡 Sonar & Radio
  • Located in the aft port-side room.
  • Includes depth sounder, sonar, and radio systems.

🛠️ Advanced Usage

🔥 Engine Overload:
Enable the overload key (below ignition switches) for a temporary speed boost. Be careful – overheating past 115°C will shut down the engines.

🌐 Snorchel:
The snorchel allows you to run the diesel engines while submerged, supply fresh air to the hull, and refill compressed air reserves. It can be raised from either periscope control panel. A preset snorchel depth button is located to the right of the periscope depth button at the control station. In heavy seas, the snorchel may briefly dip underwater, interrupting airflow. If this happens, raise your set depth by 1m to stabilize operation.

♻️ Torpedo Reloading:
Follow the step-by-step guide posted in the torpedo room. If rails jam, raise/lower the winch a few times. Always lock the guide rail before moving torpedoes.

⚖️ Trim Tanks:
Controls located next to the main ladder in the control room. Use to correct trim or recover from flooding.

💧 Flooding:
Three bilge pump sets (fore, mid, aft), all operable from the control room. The compressor can also act as a surface bilge pump. Warning: the sub has no bulkheads, so flooding can spread rapidly.

🌬️ Air Quality:
For long submerged operations, activate ventilation and recirculation pumps (in front of the port engine).

📏 Ship Rangefinding:
In the conning tower, use the stadimeter keypad to input ship height and calculate range via the periscope.

🎛️ Torpedo Control Panel:
Located port side, beneath the map table. Allows setting torpedo depth, direction, and mode. Can also fire torpedoes with periscope or sonar input.

🔌 Torpedo Maintenance:
Torpedo reloads need periodic charging for long patrols. Connect electric cables from the starboard charging panel in the torpedo room. Ensures max range of 5 km at 12.4 knots with sonar.

🏴‍☠️ Final Notes
You now know the essentials for operating this Type IIC submarine. Whether on patrol alone or with friends, it offers a balance of realism, performance, and playability.

Good luck, and safe hunting!
