More Natural Resources on World Tiles, based on the Mod of TheSpaniard777.


This mod increases the vanilla spawn chances for resources on world tiles and also adding additional spawn chances for more variety.

Thumbnail is an example of the new resource spawn on a forest biome.

I have not only increased the vanilla spawn chances, but also added additional chances for another resource from that same pool to spawn, you can for example end up with 3x diffrent types of woods in a forest biome, but also can roll 3x the same wood ending up with a 9 unit maple deposit.

Changes Include:

Vanilla spawn chances for all resources increased, rare spawn chance doubled, sometimes tripled.

Forest Biome: Increased spawn chances for wood to 3x, animal spawn chance to 2x and herb spawn chance to 2x.

Boreal Forest Biome: Increased spawn chances for wood to 2x and animal spawn chance to 2x.

Low Mountain Biome: Increased spawn chances for ore to 3x and for gems to 2x.

High Mountain Biome: Increased spawn chances for ore to 4x and for gems to 3x.

Desert: Added fossil wood spawn chance ( rare ).

Savanna: Increased spawn chances for animals 2x and herb spawn chance to 2x.

Grasslands: Increased herb spawn chance to 2x.

Tundra: Increased "Other" ( mostly flowers ) spawn chance to 2x.


The mod increases the overall amount and variety of deposits. In cases it does not, it means it rolled the same resource multiple times, a high mountain can still have only iron-ore but then it probably has a very large of it, as the numbers add up.

New game is required.
