From Kalia and the Fire Staff, Kalia herself makes her mark on Smack Studio! Kalia is someone who likes to focus on close combat, but has plenty of fire magic to keep opponents where she wants them.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Fire Shot
Kalia shoots out a small blast of fire from her staff that doesn't do a ton of damage. If you keep pressing special, she'll keep shooting fireballs so you can pressure the opponent a little. However, if you hold special, she can charge up a much larger more damaging fireball. Also, once the fireball is fully charged, you can press shield and store it for the next time you use neutral special.

SIDE SPECIAL: Fire Bomb
Kalia will lob a fire grenade in the air that explodes on contact. It will launch in an arc so it will be most effective as an edge guarding tool.

UP SPECIAL: Fire Aspect
Kalia herself will become a glowing source of heat and launch herself in one of eight directions determined by where you press the left stick. The startup will do multi-hit damage and the launch is a strong hit that diminishes over time.

DOWN SPECIAL: Fire Drain
While you are holding down and special, Kalia will surround herself in an aura of fire that will absorb any projectiles that comes her way to restore health and add a little extra to her ultra meter. However, this fire aura does absolutely no damage whatsoever, so be careful not to leave Kalia wide open.

ULTRA: Fire Storm
Concentrating all of her magic, Kalia will unleash a giant vertical fire pillar for massive damage.

OTHER NOTES

Taunt: Kalia has three different taunts depending on whether you hold the left stick up, down, or not at all when you press taunt.

Kalia is compatible with LAP! If you plan to make any interactions, use Z_Kalia.
