If the original author requests it, I will remove this update.

--

Fixed a few bugs, reworked the code slightly for better performance.
Added a few more options (verbose logging, how often to play alert sound)
Added a button to reset lamps (lightbulb icon on lower right)

--

Original mod notes (1.5):

Makes all compatible lights turn red during threats such as raids, infestations, ect.
Only active while the threat is active.
It requires advanced lights to be researched in order to work.
Do note that darklight color cannot be changed, so any lights set to darklight will be temporarily set to normal light, but will change back.
If there is only one hostile present, the lights will turn yellow instead of red.
It has an option to auto restrict pawns to home zone. (Taranchuk could not make a custom zone for it)

Has with an audio alarm that plays [every hour in game - can be changed] but can be toggled off, or toggled to loop for you auditory masochists.

Commissioned [original] coder is Taranchuk
Artist for the main image and preview image is @Times New Roman#7486 on discord

Seems like the outdoor lamps from vanilla furniture expanded interact weirdly, during the day while they're meant to be off they DO come on, but wont turn back off after the event is clear

No worries! I really appreciate you reviving this mod! And ill try and do some testing as well and see if I can figure out why its happening 🙂

I will take a look at Lights Out also, as right now I have no solid leads on why it's happening, nor can I reproduce it. Thanks!

Unfortunately it does not. In some cases it makes some more lights stay red. I have a sneaky suspicion it might have to do with lights out. Because it seems most of the light have have toggled on go back to normal and the ones that were off dont.

I might do some more testing tonight and try to narrow down the issue

Question - what happens if you toggle the red alert manually on and off, does that restore the lights to their original color?

I am also having the issue with the lights not turning back to normal after the event. I had this issue before back in like 1.3 and it wasnt an issue since all my lights were the same color but now I have to change each section of my base back to the color it was before and it got to be too much.

I truly love this mod and the idea it adds so much immersion. Im hoping this issue can be fixed but at the moment its too tike consuming..

I was also wondering if it had compatibility with the lights out mod?

Thank goodness I don't need to have the ability to read with this one!

It corrected itself after dealing with a different threat.

I'd be interested to see your mod list; I'm running it with a couple hundred and it's working for me.

I appreciate the update, but unfortunately the issue persists, Had an event where I had to protect a crashed shuttle from raiders (Royalty DLC) that didn't reset when the raid was done or even when the quest was fully completed. And even the new reset button doesn't reset the lights, unfortunately.
