This is an automated signal from the Phobos-based UAC research facility. Transmission is fragmented due to severe atmospheric interference. We are under attack. The Dimensional Anomaly Experiment has resulted in a catastrophic containment breach. A gateway—a portal—has opened directly from... from Hell. We have confirmed multiple hostile entities, designated as 'demons,' manifesting across all sectors. Casualties are at 99%. All personnel are either dead or unaccounted for. We are requesting immediate armed intervention. The portal is stable and expanding. We can't... we can't close it. They're everywhere. Get here immediately. We're all that's left. After a year or more in development, I'm excited to finally bring you a recreation of 1993's DOOM E1M1 in Paint the Town Red. I did everything I could to replicate the level as closely as possible, including the enemies, items, and map layout. Just about every detail from the original FPS is here.

I was surprised that so few people had made a 1993 DOOM map, so I took on the challenge myself and tried to make it as faithful as possible, adding a few small details here and there to really make certain rooms and sections pop.

It was a lot of fun to work on, and I plan to create more levels from the original DOOM games. If you enjoy this map, stay tuned for what's to come! I'm excited to show you what I have planned next!
