October Sky (1999) - Railroad Tracks Scene

Here is my recreation scene of abandoned railroad tracks from the 1999 film October Sky. The scene where the boys enters an railroad track and takes off an old rail for over 100 pounds, thought to be completely abandoned in 1951.

Suddenly, a train's whistle is heard, freaking out the boys and attempts to put the rail back on the track, but to no availl. Having no time to put the rail back, they think fast and the runs toward the train, screaming the train to stop, fearing it will cause a derailment.

However, the train goes into a different path of the track, revealing that the railroad track that they remove the rail off the track, was indeed abandoned and no longer used.
