Battle of Helm's Deep

Many thanks for your kind comments. I actually just wanted to build the map because I felt like recreating Helm’s Deep.
The only reason there are invasions at all is that I wanted to create a basis for people to take a closer look at the map. Only then did I start thinking about actually making the invasion difficult.

the battle for middle earth is about to begin

First impression was that this is kind of "self winning" map, then that this is impossible to win because of the amount of enemies. BUT! It's overall very good map. It's really nicely build, and after You'll lose one gate it becomes really sweaty scenario. Marketplace with stone and wood is very good addition.

I am currently watching The Two Towers (Extended Edition), and came here looking for this exact thing. Wouldn't you know it, it was recommended on the very front page! XD

A good map evokes the emotions you need. In terms of gameplay, I would deprive the player of the possibility to mine and use the stone. But overall it's great.
