Yamanashi Culture Hall

The Yamanashi Culture Hall was designed by Kenzo Tange and built in 1966 to house a television studio, a radio station, and a newspaper printing press. The building was part of Tange's 'Metabolism' architectural movement which saw buildings as organisms that could grow over time to accommodate the needs of its inhabitants. This philosophy is reflected in the building's design which allowed for expansion should the need arise.

In 1974, the 5th and 7th floor expanded into the southeast and northeast sections respectively, while the 6th and 8th floors expanded into both areas. This workshop release is modeled after the post-expansion version of the building that can be seen today.

The "required" props are optional, but it is recommended to have them installed. If you do have it installed but want them off the building, use BOB to get rid of them.

HOOOO I finally finished this asset after 3 years! Yes, you read that right; 3 whole years! I started this project back in 2022, but put it on hold indefinitely due to studies and plain skill issue. Picked the project back up on a whim this year and decided to finally finish it! I hope you all enjoy this asset, it's my favorite building and I wanted to make sure that I did it justice with the amount of model and texture detail I put into it~

I've gotten requests from some people for access to my models for purposes outside the game, so I've decided to sell the source files for my assets starting with this one. You will get the original PSD and Blender project files used in making the asset, allowing you to study how the building's textures and models were made. All I ask is that you don't reupload these files anywhere or port them to other games without my explicit permission. You may contact me through any of my socials below.
