Chapter Turning Tides

Description
Chapter Turning Tides portrays the 1943-1944 invasions of the Marshall and Gilbert Islands.

The operations, primarily intended to establish a foothold in the central pacific, would allow for further offensives into the Marianas and eventually the Palau Islands. This map project focuses on these brutal island battles that made those advances possible.
