MVM Last Resort (Attack/Defend)

Description
PUBLIC BETA
For now developing a 3-4 player mission (for development and community playtesting ease) that's properly embedded into the BSP, you just need to click Subscribe, boot up TF2, click Create Server, select in the dropdown menu "(UGC) mvm_lastresort", then have fun!

Team Fortress receives tickets to “Opening Night” at an exclusive resort somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. Upon arrival, Team Fortress' Sub is hit with a Harpoon Missile and is now beached.

- Defend the Submarine from being destroyed by robots carrying a bomb, or incoming Tanks
- Progress through each area, and capture associated control points
- Defend your control points from being recaptured by the robots
- Anticipate unexpected tactics, we believe it's operated/overseen by a General Artificial Intelligence

Developer Q/A, commentaries:
When we started this project in July 2025, we went through the official maps and kept note of what we felt was lacking, or what could be iterated on:
  • We concluded that the roster only provided one massive arena, with little change in scenery nor in challenge/risk.
  • After a month of developing the rough layout and map logic, we reached to the point of a 3 Control Point tug-of-war in Mann vs Machine
  • Similar to Gravel Pit or Dustbowl, you have to capture each area in proper order, and same applies for the Robots but in reverse. This gives Red team a chance to recuperate, or be ahead of the impending battlements.

Like the idea of expanding out from the basic objectives after defending the submarine. Visuals are good and feels different from the basic tf2 maps. Maps a little tough to beat on your own tho.

Seems reasonably interesting, but god damn this map is huge.
