And at night, when the smog thickens, it settles on your skin as black, sticky dew. We all walk here in eternal mourning for a clear sky that we have never seen.
War? It is already happening. You do not hear the shots, you hear it differently. This is a roar - louder than usual - from the Vulcan Pipe Rolling Plant. This means that Silverton has sabotaged it. This is a sudden whistle of steam from a broken main pipeline, melting skin and metal alive. This is a whisper in the lines for water: "I heard that "steam fox" has recruited new "volunteers" for testing... not a single one has returned alive."
And when this happens, we, the teeth, those who are considered expendable, will decide whose furnace the spark will fly into. Or whose furnace - to extinguish forever.

This is not their war. This is ours. And it is already here. We breathe it.
