[42] Silent Hill Dynamic Music Replacement

Description
New tracks have been added! Check
change notes to see how to update

This mod is inspired by the original "Silent Hill Music Replacement v2 [B41 Only]" mod created by user Warmacha. If you still play on build 41, please show that mod some love.

This mod replaces nearly all of the original tracks with modified and respliced tracks from Silent Hill 2 and 3. There are different intensities for each song depending on the mood/intensity of the game state, staying faithful to the original dynamic music experience. Enjoy!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - Follow carefully!

First navigate to the workshop mods located in
/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600 (your ID for the project zomboid mods may be different but for me, its 108600.)

Navigate to the workshop mod id: 3556702241. Then go into: mods/Silent Hill Dynamic Music Replacement/42/media/sound/banks/Desktop
Inside should be the BANK file, ZomboidMusic.bank. Copy this file.

Next, go to your game folder located in Steam/steamapps/common/ProjectZomboid
Then: media/sound/banks/Desktop. Paste the file in this folder- but make sure to create a backup of the original ZomboidMusic.bank file.

Lastly, go into your audio settings in-game and change your music library option from Official or Legacy to "Random." This allows for more music to be played, as the mod replaces both new and legacy songs.

** WIP! **

This is a work in progress. There are around 6 different orignal tracks from the base game that are proving VERY difficult to replace without error (including the menu music), and I will try my best to get the full version of this mod out as soon as possible.

@Fiways This is a known bug with 42.12, nothing to do except wait for the devs to fix it.

From time to time, music just cuts off completely from the game, and whenever i pause and then unpause it plays for a second, then goes back to silence, what could be causing this?
