RP Merchant Vessel - Mary Shelley

The following statement was taken from the logs of this vessel after it was left abandoned on a planet for a period of time. The captain had ran out of components to effect repairs on his ship and had left his camp in an attempt to gather the necessary materials. He was never seen or heard from again.


"I knew that from the first moment I saw her, that the Mary Shelly had chosen me to captain her. She was docked in orbit around some piece of crap moon in an orbital scrapyard. My buddy Haeggen had contacts there; he made the introductions, we swapped some credits, and I spent the good portion of an afternoon poking around derelict hulls and half-assembled freighters. That's when I saw her. She had netting strung up all over her frame, holding bits of scrap from probably half-a-dozen salvages. Her hull plates must have been worn, rusted, repainted and repaired countless times. A number of her thrusters had been removed and replaced with different models, or left out entirely. She'd likely need as many hours of work as she had under her keel, but I knew that she had to be mine."


This is a weathered version of the Chariot Class Light Freighter that I have previously uploaded. It was created to help the members SE community who want to tell stories create a world that feels lived in.
