Description
The goal of the mod is to bugfix and update the popular Operator Silvya mod.

Unfortunately, this great character mod appears to be abandoned and I'm unable to apply all the fixes and adjustments I would like through overlaid property change patches. So, I opted to spin off a separate mod so I can get it properly spruced up.

Full credit goes to the mod's creator Ethy0104, and if you happen to see this, you're more than welcome to take some or all of the fixes/changes here and apply them to yours and I'll hide this one.

Note of caution, I advise against using the Hostile Life game rule if you have The Nests Awaken or Orbital Threats mods enabled as it will cause conflicts.

Also, goes without saying, but you'll only want this or the original enabled. Both will create conflicts and errors galore.

Fixes & Changes
  • Fixed the Electrocution health condition display names. They were boxes with rectangles for some odd reason.
  • Proofread and reworded the text in the descriptions, display names, story bits, and character bio. The grammar and wording were a little rough.
  • Changed her skill learning bonus from 2.225x to 2x. The game is not a fan of long decimals in variables and can cause some minor extra CPU use or odd behavior.
  • Added Metal to the Surgical Kit recipe (formerly Surgery Kit). Bit hard to make surgical tools out of antibiotics and bandages. ;)
  • Changed the Surgical Kit icon so it's different from vanilla First Aid kits. Stackable entities will also have a different color. Now crafted at the Crafting Table.
  • Updated her Inventory Portrait to be grayscale and transluscent to match others in the game.
  • Increased the travel time for the TOSED ship expedition to 4-8 hours from 2-4.
  • Added 5 CPU cores and 15 Scrap Electronics as a salvage reward for the best expedition salvage outcome.
  • Added additional injuries from failed expedition outcomes.
  • Changed the Hostile Life game rule effect property from Positive to Neutral.
  • Added 2x ranged and melee attack speed to the TOSED Operator trait.
  • Rebalanced the damage, range, and critical hit chances for the two included weapons.
To Do List:
  • Adjust the Expedition results so higher combat and physical skill increases success chances.
  • Resolve the Composite Body errors, which don't appear to be causing issues, but are flagging an error in the Mod Editor and causing a mod error pop-up on game start nonetheless. Existing issue from the original mod. May require recreation of the original gun entities if I can track them down, otherwise I'll find similar replacements.
  • Spin off the Hostile Life game rule into it's own mod as it's something that's been somewhat hidden within the character mod, and is novel enough to stand on it's own.
  • Further re-balance Hostile Life so it provides a fun map-wide challenge without it overwhelming the game engine. Also diversify the spawns so it's not just Shriekers, and also allow for some interesting conflict between timed base attack spawns should they not be fond of each other (e.g. Robots vs hostile wildlife, rapid dogs versus insects, etc.).
