"They're infected, not undead"; the famous last words of Dr. Ashford who's life had been cut short during a late night autopsy on a Witch corpse... that sprung to life mid-operation. While we did lose a dozen more personnel during this unforeseen event, the hag was eventually put down with a storm of bullets and flames. While we had received rumors of these incidents in the field, nobody ever took them seriously until Ashford's death up close. This process dubbed RE-ACT only activates upon death; the Green Flu causes the heart to pump at an alarming rate, resulting in noticeable blood seepage throughout the body and bulging arteries, giving the skin a crimson shade. Aside from increased muscle mass, the Witch also seems to have undergone exponential bone growth... obviously more noticeable in the hands. These hags are also far more aggressive; their cries sounding more malicious as they seek out prey as opposed to their more shy cousins. While it sounds hopeless, these variants are easily dealt with so long as ALL Witch corpses are DESTROYED to prevent more potential RE-ACT incidents. While not officially confirmed, it can be assumed these Witch variants will burn out quickly due to the Green Flu's tax on their bodies.
