The Insidious Lurker

Description
Have you ever thought that Don't Starve Together lacks that creepy atmosphere that the original DS had? Or maybe, you felt that the world is not challenging enough for you?

This modification adds some brand new features such as various set pieces, a new event and the most important thing is - the creature that lurks within the darkness. From now on, you are no longer a hunter, you are prey, just like any other animal.

New Creature - the Insidious Lurker, Night Shambler or whatever you call it:
- Appears usually at night and hides when dawn hits;
- Terrorizes forests and generally the main land, however it can still find you on the islands, also it can find your boat;
- It can steal your food, rummage chests and generally visit your camps.

New event - Foggy Day:
- There's a chance that the new foggy event may happen at any time;
- It slows you down so you are ought to wear some hats, for example (straw hat, rain hat, desert hat, and a few more);
- Almost all creatures hide when fog event happens, pig, rabbits, merms, spiders, bees, etc. will stay at their "homes" until fog stops;
- Be careful in the fog, since the creature will hunt you and you better not stare at it for too long.

Tiny spooky events:
- Trees around you will start shaking from time to time rarely;
- The Phantom Lurker: players with low sanity will encounter the lurker's shadow, usually appearing at base.

Corpses:
- Since the creature hunts you and other animals, you may be able to find their corpses around the main land;
- You can find beefalo, voltgoat, mossling, pigman, pengull, eyeless deer and other carcasses over time;
- You can destroy corpses using a hammer to get some resources.

10 brand new setpieces:
- Abandoned camp;
- Meadow in the forest;
- Witch's garden;
- Lonely pond;
- Brutally slaughtered survivor;
- Living tree and gravestones;
- Little mushroom grove;
- Creepy rift;
- The pigman v2;
- Wild Scarecrow.

That's it for now, however keep in mind, that there're more than the things listed above, you just have to find out yourself. This mod was strongly inspired by the Screecher mod for DS so some things may be familiar.
Try it out if you are brave enough and good luck...

@RubLog6 no, if you disable the mod, your world should be ok, but you will not have the lurker and fog event. Also some prefabs from set pieces will disappear, bc they are custom prefabs like a tent with skeleton

Finished a run with this. Kind of want to chill in the late game. Is it safe to remove this mod from or will it destroy my save?

Great mod, lots of atmosphere but man the foggy day event needs to be tweaked in some way. Either increasing the variety of hats that can negate the effect such as top hats, winter hats, etc, would help deal with the increased frequency. Either that of a simple config to either increase the delay or to turn it off completely would be nice. Great mod, just brought down by this event.

Man this mod is so cool but the fog frequency played a big role in my buddies asking to turn it off. If we could one day get some config settings that would be awesome. Thanks for creating this one! :DSTskull:
