HMS Hotspur 1780

Description
==========================================================================================

HMS Hotspur is heavily based on the real snow (basically a brig) HMS Ontario (1780) from the revolutionary war. Shes about the same size but packs slighty less guns, this is due to the vessel being made for an event in the discord server SMH, where she has bravely fought many battles.

==========================================================================================

~~~STATISTICS~~
Guns: 16x Heavy Autocannons
7x2 Broadside (5 of which can elevate)
2x Bow Chaser
Speed: 10 knots (on a good day)
Size: 25.5m Long (LOA is 34m)
7.25m wide (WOA is 12.25m)
25.5m Tall incl masts
==========================================================================================
~~HOW TO USE~~
Steering:
Throttle levers and buttons by every mast controls sails, if confused fool around but generally it should be quite intuitive and easy to use, rotation of the main mast yards has been limited to avoid collisions.
Rudder can be turned at the helm, should be easy to find.
Gunnery:
The gunners station is located in between the main mast and the aft stairs.
Firing broadsides are 1 for port and 2 for starboard, holding 3 fires the bow chasers.
To elevate the guns use up and down arrows or equivalent key binds.
You can also steer the ship from here.
Loading:
There are Ammo drums fore and aft to ease loading the guns. Originally ammo was brought from the hold, but this was deemed timely and dangerous
Put shells into all ammo belts on top of the cannons, then go the Gunner station and fire the guns, this will load them into the breech. After this you're ready to fire for real, you can also load the guns again before firing for more efficient gunnery.
You'll find equipment in both the hold and captains cabin.
==========================================================================================
HMS Hotspur is intended for either exploration or multiplayer fighting and has a recommended crew of at least two in event of a fight.
Interior is not very detailed to save on lag, again because its intended for battles.
Sink buttonm
i might post it to the workshop when im done (if i dont end up stealing some microcontrollers from here)
the way the sails were made is honestly genius, and so i just had to make my own ship with those sails (though with more automation)
in theory yes
You can always use stabilisers, and additional speed is always good. On top of that with no ropes the performance issues are minimal
yes, i would certainly look better that way, but it would add to lag, and it would make her pitch forward even more than she already does.
She could use some topgallants
