Greetings, with this guide I'll tell you everything I've learned that aided me in ZB2. I'll be fixing up my old guide for the current update, adding onto it, and correcting or clarifying things as well. Without any further ado, let's begin!

My first and most important piece of advice to any beginners: Don't learn so you can play the game, play the game so you can learn! Everything here are things you very likely will learn through gameplay! This game is not overly complicated, you'll be fine :D
---SINGLE & MULTIPLAYER---
Information applicable to both single and multiplayer.
Beginner Tips
If you're starting for the first time, well, complete the tutorial of course! Check your keybinds, too.
Afterwards, get to looting. You'll have ample time before a wave hits, and they're not so bad anyway. If you're with a pal or a group, try not to be a hog. Avoid staying indoors when a wave hits. Check your map, wander, locate workbenches and braziers. Make note of where you see police stations and metalwork buildings as those contain bosses later down the line.

Conserve your resources, stick to melee for however long you can! I will cover weapons in-depth later, just know this:
-Don't get greedy with your hits. One then circle around the zed(s), then hit them again and repeat until dead.
-Holding right-click and then hitting m1 will use a more powerful strike.
-Melee-ing an enemy with a gun will usually soft stun them (I will explain this more in-depth later in weapons)
-Make sure you check your map! The difficulty regions are self-explanatory.

This doesn't mean you can't be liberal with your guns, of course. This isn't pre-workbench ZB2 anymore, you won't need to pray to RNGesus to get the ammo you need now.

Go for headshots with ranged weapons, of course. Guns are hitscan, so don't worry too much about leading your shots. There is no auto-reload, so make sure you keep your guns topped up. Food and drink should be consumed as they provide bonuses.

Food gives you damage resistance and up-keeps your secondary health, drinks will stop your secondary stamina from draining, or recover it if it has already.

The secondary health/stamina bars are the dark-colored bars behind their respective bars. If secondary bars go down, the primary ones are limited. Don't worry, these aren't much of an issue. You will more than likely have a steady supply of consumables, be more worried about finding healing items. Taking higher-tier consumables gives better defense (food) and longer infinite secondary stamina (drink).

Should you go down, fret not! Now, you can crawl. Thank goodness. However, instead of having halved secondary health from older versions, you get about a third. Once that secondary health goes down, you die.

In singleplayer, you have 3 lives and get placed on a 5 second respawn period. In multiplayer, you have infinite lives so long as one person is still standing. However, no matter how many players there are, the respawn timer is always 30 seconds. Be careful, folks!
Bosses/Intermediate tips
"To defeat the Zumbie Queen, shoot at her, until she dies."
-John Zumbie

Tips
Clear the wave or put a load of distance between you and them when starting a boss. If you want to keep stamina for a while, get better at strafing zeds. You'll most likely be subconsciously practicing that anyhow for when you need to reload in the middle of a fight. However, there's no one-all end-all for when you should strafe or roll, you'll figure it out on the fly.

To deal with hordes, use fences and open spaces as much as possible. The fences will greatly slow down hordes, forcing them to do a long vaulting animation, and the open spaces obviously give you better maneuverability and great sight-lines.

Stick to medium and hard regions for better loot as the game progresses. All that changes is that the zombies are tankier, more aware, and a bit faster.

NEVER USE STUN GRENADES ON BOSSES! THEY DO NOTHING! Grenades are good damage dealers, but they take a good bit of setup to ensure you hit the boss with good damage, so they're usually not worth it. Save your stuns for hordes or for reviving the fellas. Grenades are good in hordes, and are best combo'ed with stuns for maximum damage. Shurikens are rare as all hell as of recently, but they're great at doing quick, "I hate everything in that direction" damage.

Also, you can use the new armories as "safe" zones, meaning that so long as the door is closed, zombies can't get in unless they glitch/spawn inside. However, you do have to make peace with the fact that you'll basically be trapped in there unless you have stun & frag grenades or someone helps you out, so it's a fair trade-off for virtual invincibility.

Riot Zumbie - Wave 5
He's big, mean, and clumsy. Not a difficult fight, just resource consuming. I'd recommend getting about ~100 bullets for the gun you have, maybe more if it's a low-tier one. Make sure your stamina is in good shape, since strafing isn't going to be as effective as rolling is for this fight.

Trigger the boss by getting close or by shooting him, just note that during startup or phase switching, bosses have about ~95% damage resistance. Also, never fight this lad indoors!

Phase 1
Dealing with the shield isn't too difficult. If you have shurikens or a cleaver, they go straight through the shield without issue. Otherwise, just get him to expose his back to you by either baiting him into melee, rolling to the side, or even just taking pot-shots once he throws a flashbang. If you're confident with your aim, you can also shoot him in the legs, the arm, or the small portion of his head. To deal with flashbangs, just look away or break line of sight with cover.

If you're really struggling, guide him to the fence. This lets you easily juke him, though he vaults quicker than the average zombie. However, it also leaves him more open to pot-shots, which is great. If you have a buddy or buddies with you, you can also have one distract the boss while everyone else lights him up. Very simple, just keep shooting.

Phase 2
The fight ironically gets easier. Now, the boss puts his shield on his back and will use his shotgun. Whenever the boss is about to fire, they will make an audible pumping sound and stay still, before taking aim. The best way to avoid the blast is by rolling to either side, or by moving to cover that hides your whole body. Don't bother using zombies as cover, as the bullets will pass straight through them.

You can also prevent the boss from even shooting you half the time by staying in melee range. They still throw discord light mode grenades at you, so watch out for that. Otherwise, the fight is literally easier from here on out.

Though, for multiplayer, this might be more difficult. The boss won't be too sure who to target, so you might get 360 no-scoped out of nowhere despite them clearly targeting someone else at first. Alternatively, they might shoot off into nothing.

Phase 3
Phase 2 but harder. The riot zumbie begins this phase by throwing their shield at you, though interestingly, it doesn't seem to do any damage like it used to. The boss will shoot you three times now, stopping and audibly pumping their gun thrice now with about a second delay between each shot. Otherwise, everything from phase 2 is applicable here, just keep shooting.

Zumbie Queen - Wave 13
The boss everyone got annihilated by back in the day. Put on your big boy pants, because this boss can still end your run if you're not careful. I won't give much advice on what to bring to the fight since you should be well-stocked up on goods if you've made it to this point.

However, do note that you will need to clear the metalworks factory in order to reach the top. You do NOT want to stay in the building once a wave starts! Jumping from the second floor will do practically null damage, though the third hurts more and the fourth/top level should only be jumped off of if you have full health.

Phase 1
I hope your stamina is high because you'll be rolling a lot. Her melee attacks aren't difficult to dodge, so keeping her close isn't all bad. Stops her from using her ranged attacks half the time, which is good. It'll eat at your stamina a lot though, so be mindful.

Her ranged attack sucks, being poison clumps she throws at you. You have to run or dodge roll away from these most of the time, though sometimes her aim is off because of a small bug or from targeting another player. At the very least, they don't stunlock you like they used to in the old days, but they'll still prevent you from reloading or switching weapons/items. Just keep dodging, and keep shooting.

Phase 2
Largely the same as phase 1, but the queen will prefer longer distances on top of using a laser beam attack. Just roll to either side when she uses it. Otherwise, nothing much changes, just keep firing.

Phase 3
A zig-zag laser attack and no more melee attacks. That's it. To avoid the zig-zag laser, you'll want to dodge forward this time. Also, she now throws 3 poison clusters if she uses that attack, so watch out. That's about it, just don't die!

Advanced tips/Grinding in SP or MP tabs.
---SINGLEPLAYER---
The lonely way.
Grinding/Advanced Tips
"Mm, acquire everything, you must."

No messing around, let's get to it. Since this is singleplayer, this'll be more difficult. Go about your merry way for a while, looting everything you can. Since you can't rush straight to the bosses anymore, you're bound to get a lot more loot. Just stick to a gun you like and collect resources. Light braziers if needed, though you can also buy loadout boxes from vendors now.

The easiest way to get the resources needed for them is by breaking doors for materials. There's countless wooden doors on the map that will give you some odd 35 wood each. Notable door types are located in the police station(s), where the entrance doors give you 135 metal a pop and the cell doors give you about 35 metal each.

Bosses respawn every new wave. However, you can't kill the riot zumbie for all loadouts anymore, you'll have to kill the zumbie queen or buy loadout boxes once you've hit the "No loadouts can be obtained from this boss" message.

Because you need to hit a certain wave to be able to fight bosses, I won't update the loadout strategies from the old guide, seeing as you're bound to have everything you need once the fight starts up. Generally speaking, however, you should have:
- A powerful gun, preferably crowd control
- A full auto gun, to switch to
- A spammable gun, preferably as a secondary
- Literally any melee that isn't the knife or cleaver
- Decent supply of consumables

The singleplayer way is long and slow, but if you grind the riot zumbie and buy loadout boxes afterwards, you should unlock everything with relative ease. Unfortunately, it won't be as fast as the olden days, but this is still a quick method that anyone can do at any point.

If you want to not deal with waves of the undead just to get some resources to sell to the vendor, trigger a fight with the riot zumbie as it will stop the wave timer from decreasing. Queen zumbie works for this as well, but the riot zed is a lot easier to manage than her.

Also, use sniper rifles for crowd control instead of shotguns! The Lee Enfield is arguably one of the best for this goal for early-mid game! Yes, it is slow to reload. Yes, it has low ammo. However, if you don't have the M14, it is great at dealing with hordes so long as you go for piercing headshots.
---MULTIPLAYER---
The funner way.
"Revive me bro, please please"
"Mm, horde everything, we shall."

The funner, quicker way. Even if it's just in a duo, this makes things a lot faster. Thanks to the updates, any lowered loot scale in multiplayer that was present in the old days is now nullified by every building and the odd street containing loot.

Go about your merry ways, try not to screw eachother over, and always go for bosses. Absolutely light braziers at all times. If your buddy or buddies go down, stun grenades will be your best friend, especially if someone else can tie in regular grenades. Get your pal(s) to crawl to a better spot, too! Gather loot, though if you're splitting a lot, the vendor is less effective seeing as you'll both need ammo and many items to craft said ammo.

However, bosses are far easier to deal with, making them easier and easier the more people you have around. Same can be said for the waves, where in SP you might use half your resources just to clear the waves leading up to the queen. Now, you just need loot and half-decent aim. If anyone goes down, it's not all over.

If you're not fixing to keep fighting the queen, you can encounter the riot zumbie and let him live to stop waves from progressing, letting you loot with relative safety. Thus, you can get whatever loadouts you might need from the vendor.
---WEAPONS AND ITEMS---
Broad weapon & item overviews with my opinions on them.
Weapons - Melee
ouchie

General strats/info
- If there's 3 or more zombies, don't try melee-ing them unless your weapon one shots them. Just break them up and take them out one-by-one.
- Don't rely on melee forever! Ammo is far from scarce, and few melee weapons stay good in late-game.
- Know when to use the melee key (F by default) or an/the actual weapon itself. It can save stamina and time!
- Charged (M2 + M1) attacks are typically much stronger, and should be used whenever possible.
- Light (M1 only) attacks on long weapons will typically do a longer reaching poke attack.
- Light attacks with short weapons like the knife or cleaver should be used sparingly as the melee key or the charged attack is infinitely better.
- After an attack, move to the side of a zumbie to not get hit and continue melee-ing.
- As stated earlier, using the melee key with a gun will often soft stun an enemy, which can be quite useful.

Fists
- Better than nothing. Poor reach and damage. Takes some ~5 hits to kill an easy zed.
- Use a mixture of charged attacks alongside the melee key for the best results.
- Surprisingly good stun chances.
- Search for literally any other weapon ASAP!
- Very common, seeing as you always have it!
No comment, it's the barebones.

Pocket knife
- Like the fists, but higher damage and some lower stun chances. About ~4 hits to kill an easy zed.
- Light attack is comically bad.
- The same info can be applied from fists to here, apart from the stun chances.
- Uncommon
Recycle fodder.

Baseball Bat
- Decent range, okay damage. About ~3 hits to kill an easy zed.
- The real benefit is the charged attack, letting you knock down 2-3 zeds in one go. Very useful in multiplayer especially!
- Light attack is actually viable.
- Fairly common
The best early-game melee weapon. Good all-rounder and the only melee weapon that can hard stun and soft stun enemies.

Cleaver
- Okay-ish melee range, decent damage. About ~3 hits to kill an easy zed. Maybe 2 if you use the melee key instead.
- Charged attack is replaced by the ability to throw it, instantly killing even hard zeds. Does fair damage to bosses if you can hit it, though highly unpractical.
- Can be picked up again once thrown.
- Rare
"Hey bro, watch this trickshot." Not a practical weapon, but certainly fun. Interestingly, is quite rare as of recently.

Metal Pipe
- Decent range, good damage. ~3 hits to kill an easy zed. 2 hits and the melee key can kill an easy zed.
- Fair stun chances, though pails to the reliability of the baseball bat's charged attack
- Uncommon, though more common than the knife
The baseball bat's meaner older brother. Hits harder, though the bat's charged attack is sorely missed. Still, it's objectively better than the bat.

Shovel
- Good range, great damage. 2 hits to kill an easy zed. 1 hit and the melee key can kill an easy zed.
- Poor stun chances, though makes up for it with its damage.
- Charged attack is far more effective than its light attack!
- Fairly uncommon, though I wouldn't say rare.
Until you get the queen's hammer, this is your bread and butter melee weapon. Very useful.

Queen's Hammer
- Good range, excellent damage. 1 charged hit will instant kill an easy/med zed.
- Poor stun chances, though you won't ever care thanks to its damage.
- Very rare; Can only be obtained by killing the queen. *It used to be a guaranteed drop when killing the queen, but now it seems to be random, hence the very rare status.
The objective best melee weapon, no questions asked. A shame it practically got nerfed thanks to its newfound rarity.

[EXTRA] Pickaxe
- Decent range, decent damage.
- Okay-ish stun chances.
- Not in the game yet, so... Ungodly rare.
The true all-rounder.

[EXTRA] Zadochi
- Good range, excellent damage. 1 charged hit will instant kill an easy zed.
- Poor stun chances, though its damage pails only to the queen's hammer.
- Seems to be the only long melee where the light attack doesn't perform a poke.
- "Cheat engine/Mod only" rare
If it was in the game, assuming it to not be as rare as the hammer, this would be the practical best melee weapon.
Weapons - Pistols
SIR GET DOWN! SIR GET DOWN!

Welrod
- Poor damage.
- Silenced!
- Okay capacity.
- Meh fire-rate.
- Decent reload speed.
- Common.
Recycle fodder.

Type 26
- Good damage.
- Loudest secondary, though won't attract zombies from 4 blocks away.
- Poor capacity.
- Decent fire-rate.
- Good-ish reload speed.
- Uncommon.
You either use this or the luger, my friend.

Luger
- Fair damage.
- Very manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Decent reload speed.
- Uncommon.
Practically the best secondary.

Mauser C93
- Okay damage
- Manageable sound.
- Great capacity.
- Extreme fire-rate.
- Good reload speed.
- Uncommon.
A very fun weapon, and certainly still viable. Best paired with snipers or shotguns.

M1911
- Good damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good-ish capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Good reload speed.
- Rare.
If it was a loadout weapon, this would be, without question, the best secondary on offer.

[EXTRA] Hi-Point
- Poor damage.
- Low sound.
- Poor capacity.
- Okay fire-rate.
- Decent reload speed.
- Can't be found in vanilla.
About as good as it is in real life. The welrod is better than this thing.

[EXTRA] P320
- Meh damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Great capacity
- Good fire-rate
- Near-instant reload speed
- Unfinished gun, sorry folks...
Despite my preference for the 1911, this would be the practical best secondary on offer if it could be found in the game. Just uh, don't drop it ;)
Weapons - SMGs
WHERE IS ALL THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMMO!?

M3A1 Grease Gun
- Decent damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Decent fire-rate.
- Common.
- Fair reload speed.
A true beginner SMG. Well-rounded without anything wrong with it, though not much is going for it, either.

PPSH-41
- Meh damage.
- Okay sound.
- Great capacity.
- Extreme fire-rate.
- Uncommon.
- Decent reload speed.
A really fun gun hampered down by its impracticality. It pains me to say it, but you're better off recycling it for the resources and the free 71 pistol ammo.

Beretta 38
- Fair damage.
- Okay sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Uncommon.
- Okay reload speed.
If the grease gun is the most balanced smg, then the beretta 38 is a close second. Can melt bosses, is fine against hordes, and isn't too skewed one way or the other. A fine weapon indeed.

M3A1 Grease Gun-S
- Fair damage.
- Silenced!
- Good capacity.
- Fair fire-rate.
- Can only be crafted.
- Fast reload speed.
Not the best craftable weapon, but is good in its own right.

AS Val
- Good-ish damage.
- Silenced!
- Good-ish capacity.
- Fast fire-rate.
- Rare.
- Fast reload speed.
Really not that good to warrant being a late-game weapon. However, that doesn't mean it's a bad weapon, it's just outclassed by the gear you'll likely have by that stage of the game.

[EXTRA] Kriss Vector
- Okay damage.
- Loud sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Can't be found normally.
- Fast reload speed.
The ppsh but better.

[EXTRA] Kriss Vector Tactical
- Great damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Extreme fire-rate.
- Can't be found normally.
- Fast reload speed.
It's so comically overpowered, it's perfect. Bonus cool points for being the weapon on the steam banner.

[EXTRA] UMP
- Great damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Meh capacity.
- Fair fire-rate.
- Can be found in the game if you say "AdrianKS" 5 times and swim in the water for 2 minutes, trust!!!!
- Fair reload speed.
A balanced SMG that is very good at dealing with small hordes, though its low ammo count hurts it a lot.
Weapons - Rifles
Kitchen gun! BANG! BANG! BANG!

M1 Carbine
- Fair damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good-ish fire-rate.
- Somewhat uncommon.
- Fair reload speed.
Not the worst weapon, just very far from the best.

Sturmgewhr 44
- Good damage.
- Loud but manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good-ish fire-rate.
- Rare.
- Fair reload speed.
The best way to put this gun is by saying it's the Luger as a primary.

Ultimax 100
- Okay damage.
- Loud sound.
- Great capacity.
- Fair fire-rate.
- Rare.
- Slow reload speed.
My personal GOAT. Even if you don't use the weapon, it's free 100 rifle ammo if you unload/recycle it.

Famas
- Good damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Burst fire-rate.
- Rare.
- Good reload speed.
If it wasn't for the fact that this was a loot-only item, it'd be one of the top rifles without question.

SVT-40 LMG
- Great damage.
- Loud sound.
- Good capacity.
- Fair fire-rate.
- Can only be crafted.
- Fair reload speed.
Turns an okay sniper rifle into a pretty good automatic weapon. Sacrificing headshot multipliers for a full auto rifle that does piercing damage is really good.

M30 Carbine
- Fair damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Can only be crafted.
- Fair reload speed.
Another well-rounded craftable weapon. However, you're better off with the SVT and especially the M14.

[EXTRA] FAL
- Good damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Fair capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Just like its media presence, you can't exactly find it without hunting for it.
- Fair reload speed.
Pretty well-rounded weapon, just wish it used rifle ammo naturally (Yes, ik the screenshot says rifle, but I have mods) instead of sniper ammo. However, the piercing is very useful.

[EXTRA] VSS Vintorez
- Good damage.
- Silenced!
- Fair capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Pay $1,000,000 to AdrianKS to unlock.
- Fair reload speed.
Not putting it as a sniper due to the full auto and because the game calls it an assault rifle. Anywho, really good weapon if it's made for early-mid game. Not the greatest if it's late-game, though.
Weapons - Snipers
Oh man! This is just like counter-strike!

Svt-40 Tokarev
- Good damage.
- Loud but manageable sound.
- Fair capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Uncommon.
- Decent reload speed.
A well-rounded sniper, pretty good for early-mid game.

De Lisle Carbine
- Good damage.
- Silenced!
- Meh capacity.
- Poor fire-rate.
- Very uncommon, but not exactly rare.
- Okay-ish reload speed.
It doesn't pierce, but it uses pistol ammo and does good headshot damage. Not the best, but it's very economical.

Lee Enfield
- Great damage.
- Loud sound.
- Poor capacity.
- Poor fire-rate.
- Rare-ish.
- Poor reload speed.
Yes, it has its shortcomings, but it is ridiculous at dealing with hordes thanks to the piercing headshots. Don't underestimate it.

M1 Garand
- Good damage.
- Loud sound.
- Meh capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Rare-ish.
- Fair reload speed.
A reliable weapon, still good at dealing with hordes if you just can't with the Enfield's slower reload.

M14
- Great damage.
- Loud sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Can only be crafted.
- Fair reload speed.
The best sniper rifle, hands down. Still a monster at clearing hordes, and not greatly expensive to make and maintain.

[EXTRA] Barret M107
- Can kill god.
- Will alert zombies from 2 countries over.
- Decent capacity.
- Fair fire-rate.
- Spawns on the riot zumbie, but the recoil sends the gun flying out of bounds.
- Abysmal reload speed.
This thing is so comically overpowered that I can't help but use it even if the M14 is still practically superior.
Weapons - Shotguns
Man, this game really lacks shotguns...

Cobray Terminator
- Decent damage.
- Manageable sound.
- Abhorrent capacity.
- Extreme fire-rate. (it literally only fires once, so... Technically the fastest gun in the game)
- Common.
- Fair reload speed.
Just don't. Just scrap it. Don't even think about this gun.

Winchester 1897
- Good damage.
- Loud but manageable sound.
- Fair capacity.
- Decent fire-rate.
- Fairly uncommon.
- Okay reload speed.
The best shotgun solely because it's one of the only genuinely viable shotguns. Also, it does extra melee damage because of the bayonet, which is neat.

Riot Shotgun
- Great damage.
- Loud sound.
- Good capacity.
- Good-ish fire-rate.
- Is SUPPOSED to drop from the riot zumbie like the queen's hammer, but the loot table that has it isn't called at all, meaning you literally can't get this gun legit for the time being. Once it's fixed, it'll likely be placed as a rare weapon.
- Meh reload speed.
This weapon holds a special place in my heart, though realistically, it is objectively the most impractical shotgun as it needs an expensive special ammo of the already expensive ammo type, and you need to beat a boss to get it.

SPAS-12
- Very good damage.
- Loud sound.
- Good-ish capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Rare.
- Fair reload speed.
A cut above the winchester, but you won't see it until late-game, which is a true shame. Otherwise, a very good shotgun, just hampered by its rarity.

[EXTRA] Sawed-off Shotgun
- Fair damage.
- Loud sound.
- Abhorrent capacity.
- Good fire-rate.
- Can't normally be obtained.
- Okay reload speed.
A slightly better cobray terminator. The only way I'll touch this gun is by using it as a secondary.

[EXTRA] Mossberg 500
- Good damage.
- Loud manageable sound.
- Good-ish capacity.
- Decent fire-rate.
- Praying to allah for this to be added soon.
- Fair reload speed.
A near direct upgrade to the winchester in every way.
Items - Throwables
Let toilet grenade do the rest!

Frag Grenade
- Instantly kills zeds, does good damage to bosses.
- Silent. Yes, I know it isn't, but if you throw a grenade, it won't alert enemies to you, therefore it's technically silent.
- Stupid expensive to craft.
- Solid range.
- Very uncommon.
This thing can and will save your life more times than you can count. A lovely item.

Stun Grenade
- Does no damage, but will stun zeds for ~5 seconds
- Also, by technicality, silent.
- Expensive to craft.
- Larger range than the grenade.
- Very uncommon.
In many cases, you can argue that these are more invaluable than grenades. Very useful in reviving the fellas or getting away from hordes.

Shurikens
- Instantly kills zeds, bullies bosses.
- Silent. For real this time.
- Can only hit one target at a time.
- Lmao have fun trying to find them (Either comically rare or the dev forgot to update it in the loot pools)
A very overlooked throwable largely due to its sheer rarity and for being more situational than the grenades.
Items - Healing
Pass me the thyrup, brother...

Cough Syrup
- Poor healing.
- Common.
Old reliable. Not too much to say, just a low tier healing item.

Bandages
- Good healing.
- Uncommon.
Your bread and butter health item.

Painkillers
- Great healing.
- Very uncommon, though certainly not rare.
Pops up in late game, becomes invaluable once giant hordes start emerging.
Items - Food
I'll quickly say that you can upgrade/downgrade armor tiers by eating different tiered food items.

Candy Bar
- Poor armor.
- Long-lasting.
- Common.
While it provides the worst damage resistance, it also lasts the longest. Take that how you will.

Pineapple
- Fair armor.
- Long-lasting.
- Uncommon.
A perfect middle-ground between the higher-tiered food items and the candy bar for early-mid game.

Burger
- Good armor.
- Lasts a fair while.
- Very uncommon, though certainly not rare.
Like the painkillers, they crop up a lot in late-game, and they're rather useful. You'll likely be getting hit too often to care about how long the armor lasts by now.

Dove's Cake
- Great armor.
- Lasts either about the length of the burger to lasting an okay bit.
- Very rare; Only drops from the zumbie queen.
A very interesting item. Useful, but due to its rarity, not very practical.
Items - Drink
Lmao I should've bundled this with food

Soda
- Low-lasting satiation.
- Common.
Good at keeping you going for longer, but that's it.

Water
- Good lasting satiation.
- Uncommon.
Your bread and butter drink!

Grape Juice
- Long-lasting satiation.
- Rare.
Dumbed down by its rarity. Really not much to say.
---JUST FOR FUN---
Extra stuffs.
Mods
Yes, they exist. While there are very few, they are nice nonetheless. I was originally going to make this an in-depth mod tutorial, but this guide has beaten me to the punch already. Go to the ZB2 discord to get mods, or alternatively contribute to the scene yourself.

If you have a skill issue (Or more realistically, you're bored) then grab WeMod and start messing around. Personally, if I'm in a singleplayer match and I'm bored, I add 100 secondary health and 100 secondary stamina alongside going straight to wave five. Lets you get into the fun and compensate for not having anyone to watch your six.

But hey, if it's your lobby, you do you. Just don't be an ass and cheat in pubs without people being okay with it! If you do that, I will find you, and I will hose you down in the worst Axe bodyspray! ... Huh, deja vu.

Goodness, this grew far larger in scope than I had anticipated. Anywho...

Come one, come all!
Hopefully this taught you a thing or two about the game and will help you on your way to having all loadout items, or just impressing your buddies in multiplayer. If you've got your own opinions and or corrections, feel free to let me know in the comments.

Once again, I'm just some lazy potato on the internet, so until next time, farewell!

....

Woah, deja vu.
