This is a Simplified Chinese localization/mod for Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition, compatible with the latest game version.

The reason the title is in English only is because I kept running into errors for a long time—turned out the culprit was the Chinese characters in the title 😤

Although this is already an old game, I only came across it recently by chance.

I discovered that the existing Chinese localization mods have long since stopped working, and I couldn’t find any other translation packs anywhere.

Since this game contains a fair amount of text, I really wanted to have it in Chinese—so I spent time making a localization mod myself.

Disclaimer: I’m not good at English, so all translations were done with ChatGPT. If the translations feel off, go blame it 😛

📌 The game primarily uses Japanese fonts, and only after finishing did I realize its support for Simplified Chinese characters is poor—lots of missing characters!

I also made a Traditional Chinese localization mod. The game has much better support for Traditional Chinese—still some missing characters, but over 90% display correctly.

So for Simplified Chinese users, I actually recommend using the Traditional Chinese version. Still, since I already made this one, I’m sharing it here for anyone who wants to try it.
