Maharlika - A Philippine Flavor Pack

This is a Work-In-Progress Philippine Flavor Pack that aims to overhaul the experience found within the Philippine Isles and beyond.

This started ages ago as a Filipino Name Pack as it is horrendous and only had names that featured historical characters which led to everyone being either a Rizal, Aguinaldo, or a Bonifacio. Which isn't the case and continues to not be the case.

Current Content

Adds Journal Entries and Events
- Ilustrado Reforms
- Maharlika Reforms
- Conquest of Moroland
- Independence and Malolos Constitutional Congress
Adds Obsessions to the Filipino and the Moro
Adds Flavored State Traits to the Philippines
Adds Country Flavor Text for the Philippines, Maguindanao, and Sulu
Adds Dynamic Country Names for the Philippines, including names for a Subjugated Philippines
Adds Flavored Politics - Party Names & Interest Group Names
Expanded Name List for both Filipino and the Moros. While both take in names from Hispanic and Arabic Sources, there is over 200 brand new additions.
Modifies Philippine State Resources, now with some Gold Fields to represent Gold Mining in the Country.
15 New Flavored Companies. With the exception of a Fictional corporation. These are as followed:
- Compañía General de Tabacos de Filipinas (Tobacco)
- Batangas Coffee Plantations (Fictional, Meant to represent the Barako Coffee Industry)
- Ayala y Compañía (Construction and Trade)
- Armscor Global Defense, Inc (Small Arms)
- The Manila Times (Newspapers)
- Victorias Milling Company (Sugar)
- Benguet Consolidated Mining Company (Iron, in the future, Gold)
- Manila Electric Railroad and Light Company/Meralco (Electric and Rail)
- La Fábrica de Cerveza San Miguel (Replaces the Vanilla San Miguel)
- Destileria Limtuaco & Co., Inc (Alcohol, credit to "More Unique Companies")
- Ynchausti y Compañía (Shipping)
- Aserradora Mecánica de Tuason y Sampedro (Timber)
- Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company/PLDT (Telephones)
- Almazora Motors Corporation (Automobile/Buses)

Compatibility

This Flavor Pack creates separate files for all things it modifies, however, it should conflict with anything that does the following:

Modifies Philippine States in any shape or form.
Modifies the Filipino and Moro Culture
But I don't think that there is too much things that would cause any big issues other than missing content when overwritten.

Otherwise, Next Steps would be looking into a Nationalism JE, but I'm waiting for the new dlc for that.

Furthermore, I'm learning how to create characters to add the various historical characters. A Rizal Monarchy/Theocracy would be pretty funny after all.

I'll add Steam Images eventually.

New Update is out. You'll find it to be more specific in the Change logs but TL;DR:

> Added Two Reform Journal Entries with Events
- Ilustrado is tied to Administrative and Liberal Reforms, think of Tanzimat
- Maharlika is tied to Military Reforms, you get it through Independence, think of Japan's Restoration

> Added a Starter Event - Context and adds in the Ilustrado JEs

> Added an Independence JE - Mainly for Liberty Desire
- This leads to a Malolos Constitution Event Line for Modifiers and Law Activations

> Added the Conquest of Moroland JE, think of France's Conquest of Algeria

> Modified the Starting Law Group to better represent Colonial Philippines, to better align it with the DEI and BIC. It essentially gave it Colonial Extraction, Debt Slavery, Peasant Levies, Colonial Exploitation, and Charity Hospital

I'm surprised it even got into the Front Page.

I'm currently writing a bunch of Journal Entries and brain storming ideas.
I should be releasing it within a few days.
