Alright, how do I change the channel?
Just face the TV, make sure the "cursor box" is visible and press the interact button (default F)! GG, guide over!

Now that that's out of the way so comments can't joke about it, you're just doing some basic modification of files.

The file path for what plays on the TV is (for Windows):

[Where you installed the game]\Project Silverfish\SilverFish\Content\Movies\TV_Clips

"I don't know where I installed it!"

Fair enough, just head on to the library page, click the gear, then "Manage", and finally "Browse local files". This will open a File Explorer window for the game directory and you can navigate from there.

The TV will pull from whatever file compatible formats are in TV_Clips.

"Compatible?"

Yes, by default and with what limited testing I've done, the game only really plays nice with mp4 files and mov files. Webm files get loaded but turn into slide show presentations so I recommend against them. However, I've noticed the TV seems to support a few AUDIO formats too!

What I've tested:

Video
mp4: yes, native
mov: yes, native
webm: poorly
gif: no

Audio
mp3: no
wav: yes, but will adopt the first frame of the last video to play
wma: yes
m4a: yes
mpg: no
mid: no (this was never going to work but I tried anyway)
flac: no
aac: no

Disclaimer: Obviously I've not tested what isn't listed and I can't guarantee every file will work, because the compatibility might be down to codecs or something for audio and visual.

PS. You can remove the default videos without any concern, the game doesn't need them to remain in the video pool.

Oh man the TV's were getting on my nerves honestly but now I can replace them with the bar music from Shadow Of Chernobyl.
Thank you so much dude, you're awesome.

Yeah I'm trying to figure that one out. I believe that one will require actual modding tools so I'll have to see about poking around to change things.

great guide! any idea on where the radio music is stored? I really wanna fine-tune my tunes, but I'm not computer smart enough to recognize stuff that isn't labeled as obviously as "TV_Clips" lmao
