LORE;
The regions to the north are believed to have ley lines in the earth, filled with magical energies that give rise to strange and mystical peoples and creatures. One such place to the north known as Flowery Fields, with it's magically enlarged flowers and bees said to produce honey that can make people become quite beefy, sits above a town known for it's pious folk. They have a Castle that also serves as a chapel, but upon its stained glass windows is their symbol of the hammer. Their creed was to forge everything into something better, including themselves, thus they worship hard work, crafts, and the symbol of the smith. The township was ruled over by the Baron, who had lost his parents at a young age by a rogue Cyclops while they were traveling to check out the new resort town further north simply called Lava Town.

The young baron was a child genius prodigy, but sought vengeance for his parents death. He pursued power beyond what his people had access to, and so he looked to the magic of the ley lines. He found he could harness electricity by using the lava from Lava World, as it runs through the magical ley lines, making it a power source on it's own. He used that power to make light sabers for himself and all of the Town's knights, and made preparations to scout out his target the Cyclops. However, upon investigating the Cyclops and studying it, he discovered that it too, had lost it's only family, the Lavamancer that created it and the Fortress within which it now resides. In this moment, he no longer saw a monster, but a child much like himself, defending what little it had left to protect. He offered the Cyclops a peace offering instead of battle, and they bonded over their shared trauma overtime, forming a strong bond.

This brings us to the events just prior to the Evil Wizard taking the crystal. The Baron had a bit of a rivalry with the other known genius of the region, the Industrial Prince. The Prince's vision was for a future ruled by mass production rather than by innovation, an offensive position to the Baron and his people. Feeling confident his methods and vision of a "better tomorrow", the Prince challenged the Baron to create something that could show crafting by hand would trump industrialization. The Baron, wanting to prove a point, took up the challenge and began working on a perfectly crafted replica of himself, using the same magic and process the Lavamancer had used to create the Cyclops. The Baron would prove he could create artificial life that would surpass the factory made soldiers the Prince seemed so fond of. The Baron took opportunities during his production to boast about his project, giving hints and clues of what he was making all to rub it in come the day it was finished. The only thing the clone lacked, was the magic power to animate stone and steel, the power of the Lavamancer and his runes, which would take time to decipher.

As the Baron was researching methods to animate his clone, the Evil Wizard began making offers to powerful individuals to join him in his plan. The Wizard would strip the King of his power to make future High Knights, as well as remove the king's future lineage from continuing the royal bloodline. When the Evil Wizard arrived to make his offer to the Baron, the Baron immediately refused, much to the Wizards chagrin. This resulted in the Evil Wizard extending his offer to the Industrial Prince in exchange for a princess, which he agreed to in his pursuit to surpass the High Knights themselves. In his hopes to gain even more favor with the Wizard in his temporary alliance, the Industrial Prince shared the rumors of the Baron's secret clone project. Using this information, the Evil Wizard managed to get to the clone before it was animated to life, and infuses it with his own dark magic bringing it to life under the Wizard's allegiance. He makes the clone an offer, to assume the life of it's master, and that if he could do so that he would also receive a princess as a gift for it's service. All the clone had to do, was stab it's own creator in the back, or in this case, stab with a light saber directly through the baron's right eye.

The Baron's corpse was removed from the castle in the dead of night, the clone assuming his identity with none the wiser, even the Cyclops fully believed the Clone was in fact the Baron. The body was buried, unmarked, hidden so that the Necromancer might raise it later should he need another undead. The ghost of the Baron, witnessing all of these horrible wrongs, was fueled with a thirst for vengeance unlike any anger a mortal mind could. A rage so intense, so visceral, it became tangible enough to touch- to possess his undying corpse. His helmet had the light saber stab wound that had punctured his eye hole, a constant reminder to his new purpose. Retribution.

As the Baron touches the hole in his head, memories of the events leading up to his death and what could have been further elevate his rage. The center of the hole in his head begins to glow as his vision returns. While he was buried with his own light saber, it would no longer function due to a cracked power supply. He begins to remember it's creation, starting from the loss of his parents, the kinship he formed with the Cyclops, and how now despite all of the memories they have shared, that the Cyclops doesn't even seem to notice he's been replaced by an impostor who barely acts like him and shares none of his values or ideals. The Baron's rage further expands, as the Light Saber that had no power, nor a means to hold power anew, begins to crackle with the same glow as his eye.

As he begins to start moving towards the Castle basement, he stumbles upon his prototype of the pipe organ cannon he made in his youth, a weapon forged to shield him and his family from attack, while also being an instrument made out of vengeance. He would make this cannon his shield, the ghost of his former grudge now rekindled by his revenant energy. As he modified it for it's new purpose the cannon became part of him, even gaining a life of it's own, a phantom instrument made after his love for symphony, made dark. As he begins to hear the phantom melody of his renewed instrument, he finally remembers the Evil Wizard's offer, to take the Magic Crystal and the princesses. He knows the Evil Wizard is truly the root cause of all his ire. As his vice-like grip on his light saber tightens, the beam explodes with such intensity that it begins to melt the metal hilt. As it melts, the light saber beam becomes wider, more unstable. With each passing second the beam sword grows in intensity, extending it's reach far beyond it's initial intended purpose, billowing with violent intent. The hilt, melted like a candle of chrome, appeared like a mound of flesh under the light of the phantom energy now pouring from it's power source with sinister fervor.

He was now an unstoppable force of nature. To stop the Wizards plan, first the Baron must get to the King. Upon the Baron's arrival at the King's Castle, it appears that before he can have an audience with the King, they are having a party for the High-Knight's newest member, the Green Knight.

(Extra Note, He doesn't want to kill the Cyclops, he merely wishes to confront him, but he is feeling very betrayed. This makes the Parade level make more sense why he wouldn't attack the Cyclops directly, but maybe is frustrated enough to knock the bodies of his former allies and soldiers into the Cyclops' back/head while he flees with the Princess to get away from you, still refusing to believe you are the real Baron he bonded with)

@Randomonium We are getting High Knight Reskins! I even have non-helmeted versions of them, but it might take me a bit to get them finished. First I want to upload about 4 unique Betrayers, the Conehead Baron being the first.

Thank you everyone for all the support!

So we're probably getting the High-Knights next, either that or I missed some key detail within this wonderful little novella. Keep up the good work, my friend, and may the Baron find his peace.
