"Hey Vulkan, isn't there an oil mod already on the steam workshop?"

Yes, and now there are 3!

This is a pretty big mod pack, as it has almost everything you could want from the oil industry, both simple and complex.

This mod features multiple simple and complex production chains that allow the player to earn lots of money!

The basics of the mod follows: build the oil wells, process the oil, then sell!

the more complex aspects get into petrochemicals! You can turn oil into plastic and sell it!


No oil around? MAKE IT! this mod features COAL LIQUEFACTION! You can turn coal into oil!

In this mod, you can:
Make and sell crude oil
Make and sell fuel (Gasoline)
Make and sell plastic bars
Make and sell plastic parts
Make oil from coal
Build a bunch of buildings and factories
Build conveyor pipes (they are just conveyors)
Transport all the stuff around easily!

BIG NOTE: This mod enables the hidden tanker trucks and gives them the "liquid.itemgroup" tag, but other than that, this mod features no new vehicles.

BUT... all the new resources use existing item groups, so as long as a mod uses "liquid.itemgroup", it will work with this mod.

You know what will work with this mod anyway? My other big mod pack: Voxel Tycoon Locomotion Mod Pack! That comes prepared to work with this mod!

Ah yeah after a few rerolls on seeds, ran into the same thing. Thanks for the insight though!

i started a new world with the mod enabled. i had 2 heating plants spawn, 1 for oil, 1 for coal. the problem could be the spawn rate at which oil based heating plants appears, which is the same as the coal ones.

hi, the idea was to add oil as something that the heating plants could use, so that the player could sell the crude oil directly. i will look into seeing if it is replacing all the heating plants or not.

Loving this mod, one issue though, is it supposed to change all the heating plants to use oil instead of coal? Started a new game and have been having to work around not having any businesses that use coal.
