@douji feva I haven’t used that design in a while. It was inconsistent with shifting because if you held it too long, you could easily shift into the wrong gear. It was a bit smoother if you got it right, but that’s the key point you sometimes didn’t, which can really mess up driving the vehicle.
@biggycheese092007 i mean the continious servos felt more comfortable to me to operate since when you shift from 2nd to 3rd you have to move shifter sideways and what you do with continious servos is just hold right arrow and shift with a single button basically. but with stepper motors you have to click 3 times on 2 keys which is still acceptable in terms of this gearbox design and realism it provides but just holding arrows felt better to me

@пукнул горячим Could you elaborate a little bit more on what you mean by comfy? Thanks.

@Tony Mulraney The transmission shouldn't be able to slip much at all It's most likely something connecting to the transmission that's slipping.
For example if you have a normal built in clutch that the game uses before my custom clutch that will cause a lot of slip because of these stacked connections. You want the engine output shaft to be directly connected to the brake rotor.
previous shifter felt more comfy to me but ts is still insane lol
