Not my mod, just updating it for 1.16 until author comes back.

This mod provides you with a non violent alternative to get rid of your ungifted Realm Priest by asking your Head of Faith for an audience in which you request transfer and replacement of the cleric in question.

To get audienced you will have to pay an amount of Piety depending on your Head of Faith's opinion on you as well as the tier of your title (150 to 250 Piety for a Count).
*1,25 for a Duke
*1,50 for a King
*2,00 for an Emperor

Your Head of Faith then will introduce you to 2 possible candidates, who - may or may not - will come with a decent level of skill and be of either your or your Head of Faith's culture group.

The Gold cost to choose one of the candidates is depending on the candidate's level of Learning as well as the tier of your title. (30 to 75 Gold for a Count)
*1,50 for a Duke
*1,75 for a King
*2,00 for an Emperor
Also your HoF will gain a weak hook (Favor) on you.

Not choosing one of the candidates and keeping your current Realm Priest will lead to the Head of Faith losing 15 Opinion, because you wasted his/her time.

Irrespective of whether you choose a new Realm Priest or stay with your current one, the Decision to ask for another audience will only be available 10 years / 25 years (if not Game Rule "Once per Lifetime") (Game Rule Setting) from then on.

Decision is only available if
the Game Rule is enabled (Choose between 10 or 25 Years Cooldown Timer or Once per Lifetime)
there is an actual Head of Faith
the Player is not Head of Faith
Theocratical Clergy Doctrine "Clerical Appointment: Spiritual, for Life" is set.
