Description
Basically this is just an updated requirements so that it works with the new Bandits v2

If the author updates their mod I'll take this down.

will this mod ever be compatible with week one and day one mods? we really need a way to lower the absolutely unnecessary and abysmal levels of bombing and gassing that destroy whatever base we manage to claim before they start. it's so damn annoying that Slayer didn't provide a way to do that in the base week one mod

What this mod did was basically alter how the initial Bandits was running by altering the bandits logic to allow for finite control over certain features. However with the new changes to BanditsV2 this no longer works.
In theory it could be rewritten to work with the new objects Slayer has made but will require time to do it which I just don't have right now. If you want a better understanding of what it's doing look at the Bandits Legacy which still has the BanditCreator.lua and then look at the Bandits Legacy code to see how it's over writing and adding functions.

so if i understand what this mod does, it doesnt allow you to just take off the auto targeting, it forces a bunch of balance changes with no option to just disable the auto targeting? im trying to understand (i know this is a fix for the patch im talking about but I'm leaning on your expertise)

So there used to be a BanditCreator.lua which is now missing since the update to BanditsV2 from the other day. However it's still being called from SceneHikers and SceneMilitaryDeserters. Looking at the functions of what the original BanditCreator.lua some of those have been moved into new objects called BanditWeapons and BanditLoot. I'm not really sure if there is something missing of if this is by design, or if Hikers and Military Deserters just breaks.

Bandits had an update the other day and this has gone out the window. I'm looking to see if I can get it to work again

Hmm. But cant activate it. Mod is listed, but marked as Red, with dependency on Bandits. But this is activated. Sadly i cant play Week one no more, cause of this horrible Bombing with Napalm and Gas. There is no Option to disable this. What a shame
