Every wizard gets to the point where they want to just be left alone to their research, many of them find secluded places or a pocket dimension; so unoriginal.
Instead of doing the usual, our eclectic magic user decided to make their escape by become the "Toy Wizard". Seen as a bit of a joke by their peers, they have been able to hide in plane sight by shrinking themselves and their tower down to the size of a childs toy and placing it in their childs old play room.
While the house collects dust and is only ever really visited by the occasional adventurer who leaves disappointed at not finding the wizard, they are able to delve deep into their studies of the arcane and the more practical arts.

Next time you find yourself adventuring into a dusty old mansion, be sure to check out the remaining toys, you may just find something unexpected.
