[MvM] Comstock

Robots have begun invading Comstock quarry, a vital source of the rare material used to craft first-class gravel scented perfume: a luxury sold for an exorbitant amount to rich suburban moms. The profits feed over 600 orphan children, finances 17 schools in third world countries, and most importantly fund Mann Co’s new line of brutal weapons. Without these advancements in brutality, it's just a matter of time before we all get bored and move on. Protect comstock quarry at all costs, without it countless wealthy suburban moms would be unable to enjoy the gravel fragrance they know and love.

MVM_Comstock is a map designed to challenge common formulaic designs other MVM maps embody. The layout, initially drawn by Katsu and later implemented by Nick, does just that. The map provides defenders with plentiful high ground and strong retreat routes, but be cautious as having the high ground is not always advantageous. Falling back forfeits the ability for players to weaken Gate-Tanks, allowing them to create devastating advantages for the robots on the battlefield.

Fight against Comstock elite, expect everything thrown your way thus far in addition to rocket heavies and vaccinator medics. Hold the line against relentless compositions designed to test your breaking point. This mission is designed to challenge veteran players.

Face off against the bulk of the Comstock invasion force. Waves of Gate-tanks, Quaker Heavies, Mortar Soldiers, and upgraded sentry busters. The wave culminates in a fight with the Lieutenant and Captain of the invasion force… and they brought their experimental NUKE launchers. This mission is designed to challenge players of a medium skill level.

Features introductions to Gate-Tanks, mortar soldiers, and a variety of supporting robots. All this culminates in a showdown with the boss of the Comstock invasion force, the Chief Explosive Specialist. This mission is designed to challenge players at an intermediate level of play.
