Original addon by EJ_5527.



This addon replaces the rebel models with EJ's take on the Half-Life 2 concept art rebels.


Please note that the original mod has been discontinued and EJ said he doesn't plan on updating it any time soon, this is the reason why the medics aren't fully replaced.

KNOWN ISSUES
some very specific textures may randomly display missing textures upon loading up any map.

Maybe you right, but I always thought it's also conected by wires to sensors and maybe even some smart adjustable system inside the vest, but I guess we'll never no for sure until the next installement... I've seen leaks suggesting it will have an advanced dismmembermend gameplay features, we'll see.

well.. there's a model underneath the combine's mask that you can clearly see wires in the eye socks, which should be attached to the helmet or the visors in some way, so removing the mask would damage their face

also it doesn't make any sense that the vest is attached to the main body in any way because that doesn't help in anything, might even be worse for the soldier in case they need to quickly remove it, and the vest doesn't have any special tech that could be linked to the soldier's body as well

I do not claim that it's the undetachable part of their body I just say it may be unsuitable to ordinary humans. And maybe detachable at certain circumstances.

For those who curious why rebels don't use soldiers armor lorewise is that their armor is kinda of a body extension of combines, and can't really be used by regular people. But it was only introduced in HL:Alyx if you read combine's bodyparts up close.
